Basically: handsome fella (Eusung) who is very talented and always 1st place but makes everyone jealous, and plain fella (Soohyun) who is always second place and is fueled by his obsession to surpass Eusung. They cross paths some years after graduating after Eusung appears in the news. The plotline follows Eusung as the former victim of Mr.Park, an old, powerful geezer and famous artist who is obsessed with Eusung and takes advantage of his status and money to blackmail his students in order to submit to him, sexually too. While Eusung escaped, Mr.Park is holding some of his colleagues as hostages, blackmailing him and trying to coerce him to come back. At first Soohyun thinks this is the perfect opportunity to kick Eusung at his lowest point, but then he gets annoyed that Park is somehow his competitor in hurting Eusung, so he decides to become a reporter and do the field work to get Mr. Park out of the picture. However, Eusung and Soohyun will need to work together to take the old man down, and in the meantime will develop an initially toxic relationship into something else, as Soohyun starts learning more about Eusung and his own feelings.

Hope it was as accurate and specific as you needed, if you are okay with scenes of backup characters going through different kinds of abuse (not *a lot* of scenes, but a few that could make readers uneasy) it is a really good read. Also, hoping my English was readable. Have a nice day!
