I think it's because this was originally a Wattpad novel. And the writer seems inexperienced.

I think the way they executed the panel or the comics are the problem because when i read the original its fine and understandable but in this comics i feel like something is missing..... Or idk im not professional artis this is just my opinion

The ML's ( black hair) name is woo myung-seong. But jeonsu ( orange hair) calls him seong-ah because he used to be called like that until his father made him change it to myung-seong. Hope this kind of helps.

Because that's how he usually know him as. Just think of it as nicknames.

It's actually correct as "Ah-seong". In the original Korean, the ML's old name was "아성" (Ah-seong), which is what the main character calls him... it's a translation error to call him "Seong-ah" ;;

At least he never calls him "Seong-ah" in the original Korean version, he always calls him "Ah-seong"

Yup, Woo Ah-seong (or Ah Seong or Ahseong or Aseong, depending on how you romanize it). Like you said, the -ah is added to the end of his name because the MC and ML are friends, but it shouldn't remove the initial "Ah" syllable from his name, so the friendly way to call his name would be "Ah-Seong-ah" (아성아). This is how the MC calls him in the original Korean version.
