Well youre right but i dont view it as the plot in my mind, rape is a serious topic and can make stories turn into masterpieces afterwards but the ones like this or idk low tide in twilight and roses and champagne r just fetishes.. they dont have to show us the every single thing and it still can be good but the way theyre doing "it" every chapter is jus disgusting

Actually it does has an interesting plot than most omegaverse I’ve read. The imprint is a really interesting concept of this story.

But this story, especially world 1, is about the ML creating his own hell. By aggravating the MC, he pushed both of them into this hellish torment. Did the ML really had to keep humiliating the MC? For years the ML planned this elaborate scheme, an obsession that pushed him to imprint on the MC before the conception of their first child. ML couldn’t let go of the MC, he never remarried even after throwing the MC at the Bottom Place and keeps attacking scums at the Bottom. It’s not said in the novel, but it’s bits and clues that you pick on as you reread the story.

World 2, season 2. Shows you the story in the eyes of the ML, growing up in a healthy household, you understand his desires to have a family. It was the setup he was used to. You also understand why world 1 became crap, ML is homophobic, arrogant, with a inferiority complex. It shows you a world if Aeroc didn’t pursue him, ML still finds faults in MC’s character. It was in his nature. It also shows you that this isn’t exactly a love storu, but more on survival story. The ML realizing the imprint coerces Aeroc to have a baby with him, he needed to have a reason to lock Aeroc to him… while Aeroc who has memories knew that Kloff is capable of destroying his household agrees to the demand. They both try to figure out things, for Kloff it’s realizing that having Aeroc.. and becoming Aeroc’s partner is totally different things. While Aeroc who is in this predicament, tries to make it work for the sake of seeing his kids again.

Look i know and do understand the "plot" but like i said, to have a good plot they dont have to show literally everything. 50 chapters in and 30 of them are only rape..thats what i find disgusting and no amount of good plot is gonna change it

I honestly believe that if something isn’t to your taste, you don’t have to read it everyone has different preferences. But saying that readers who enjoy dark psychological romance have “fetishes” for grape is crossing a line. In these manhwa (or any others), no one is encouraging or siding with the abuser. In fact, readers often call out the MC and ML for their wrongdoings.

There’s a big difference between reading a story and supporting harmful behavior in real life. Using the word “fetish” toward readers is unfair and dismissive. In this story, the whole point is actually to show how abuse can be damaging.

Fair enough. This isn’t everybody’s cup of tea. I’m not trying to change your mind, just saying what the plot is… this isn’t your usual BL manhwa. Yes, it does have rape and abuse… but it’s character’s complexity is what makes this appealing. The novel is more harder to read because it goes through the degradation of Aeroc’s worth as a person.

I wasn’t supposed to read it seeing the beginning of the manhwa… scaring the shit out me. I gave up 3 times before going ahead. But gave it a chance after reading the prologue of book 2, how Kloff described Aeroc’s tombstone filled with flowers. How the children suffered from Aeroc’s drug overuse… it isn’t just rape, but how the hell never ended.

You can hate it and find it disgusting. But I hope you become a bit kinder with what you say to those who enjoy this.

"dark psychological romance" and its just people raping each other.. that's no romance thats dark psychology and the afterwards is called Stockholm Syndrome. I totally get you cuz when i started reading i felt like there was an literal elephant sitting on my heart it was so heavy to read.. Thank you for your kind words too but the people in the comments i talked about are the ones who says/implies that rape is "good" otherwise of course i dont have anything against people who likes the story as much as i hate it, i respect it knowing i too love psychological series. I just dont like them when they show it...too revealing. So i hope you understand to whom i was talking about

Then don’t read it, no one is forcing you. The issue is that you keep accusing people. This genre is called psychological romance because of how dark and traumatic it is, not because it’s promoting abuse. You read it anyway, so stop throwing accusations at the readers and the author. If you actually finish the whole story and then want to criticize, fine but don’t point fingers halfway through. Either read what you like or move on, but don’t judge others for something you chose to read yourself.

It’s a difficult story to read.. I’ve read many manhwa’s and novels with dark themes, but how harrowing the suffering really puts readers on edge. The fact that the ML (everything) went too far with the abuse, rape, and so on makes this hard to read. I knew it was not going to be any better…

If you’re still up to it.. this has a lot of fanfiction. The story has a lot of potential. Admittedly, I’m hoping that the manhwa works on the additional chapter about Rapiel Jr revenge story (which is only available on physical copies of a special edition book release). Maybe after all the stories. I’d love to see the aftermath, but fanfic had helped scratch that itch. The Au’s are also fun interpretation of things…
