Ngl the FL was pretty lame before she became a falcon, and the ML falling for her even though she literally always ran away scared shit less every time she saw him doesn’t make much sense. I think I’m just being a little cynical because the story is a bit boring and kinda complicated for no reason. Idk I think I might drop :/
I was liking and enjoying the plot until that flashback too, actually. That flashback seemed forced imo and that attraction made no sense. Instead of expanding on the character, it appeared more like an "explanation" so that if birdo becomes girlie again (in the future, maybe) the romance will already be set in stone. It kinda left a bad taste in my mouth.
Yeah I agree, the flash backs make her seem like an uninteresting character. Like she always just ran away from her sisters and never tried to better her own situation. It’s just not giving what it’s supposed to give.
The worst part is that the general/ML got hit with the "OMG she's sooooo different" cliche in the worst way possible.
Omg that’s exactly it!!! The reason she’s so different is because she’s not confident and anti-social, she’s better now as a falcon, but as a human she was nothing special. Especially as a princess, she should have been trying to make alliances, instead of just hiding from her siblings.
Ye the flashbacks did make her uninteresting but that’s her past. Now she has character development and she’s not like before, she’ll take risk and does what she can for the kingdom now.
And this is exactly why I'm really rooting for MC. What left a bad taste in my mouth though is the flashback showing that ML is interested in her before. We could've done without that, tbh but it is what is. Maybe it's because I was partly looking forward how the relationship between ML and MC will develop but now that we know that ML is already interested in her before, well... let's just say it took away some of the excitement. Nonetheless, I wanna see how this will still progress, specially since MC is well... a birdo.

Most other page also lists the series as finished at 50 chapters, so yeah, I am gonna miss this series so much, one of the best healing webtoon on Lezhin imo
