To be honest, I agree especially being that I don't care for these types of yaoi (The teacher-student kind). It had such a good story and great characters and their development!
It really is! The first time I read it, there was also a student/teacher relationship in a TV show I watch so I had a direct comparison. This book showed blossoming love, the type that made both of them better people. The show had the teacher trying to convince the student to run away with them and taking up every second of the student's study time. It got to the point where the student failed their exams. This was the total opposite!
Ok, ok.. So yes, I read the whole story and I legit didn't know that HE WAS A BOY. OKAY, HE'S TOO BEAUTIFUL THAT I CAN'T EVEN TELL THAT HE'S A BOY
