Not good news, I know, but for people to judge the mc for his poor decision in life is just mean(・–・;)ゞ. Yes yes, the mc is wrong for letting the ml do that to him, but considering that we still have a lot to uncover from their past, we shouldn't just make some assumptions that the mc is spineless, has no self-respect, dumb, etc. The mc clearly knows what he's doing ಥ‿ಥ and yes he's aware that what he's currently doing is not gonna do him some good he's whipped for the ml and apparently, their past is also one of the reason why he can't just let himself be. As much as I love the duke, he's a no go tbh. I've read some real disturbing bl's that has some sa, r*pe, stalking, Stockholm syndrome, etc. some crazy stuff, and I can accept those happening cuz in the fist place, the story was supposed to be that way.
