i mean i don't like any of the battles and I skip those scenes but I think Hwan just hurts more because he's Chiwoo's love interest but doesn't deserve it cause he's manipulative. the rape/sexual assault scene was shocking i think because it came out of nowhere and Chiwoo was out cold. he wasn't fake resisting like the other scenes. plus i don't think the writer is trying to promote toxic relationships so you know they're going to break up at some point so you just feel even worse for Chiwoo. it's like watching a friend in an abusive relationship who doesn't realize it's abusive.
