I finished reading it but i'm still confused

The semes smell didnt lost smell... its because shingo has a lot of insecurities or he kinda question their relationship... shingo kinda lost his like/love/trust etc. to keiichi.. (remembered when keiichi said that shingo still smell good.. right). Based on the big brother it'll affects the one who can smell not the one emmits the smell... ex.... if i really like you it means i can smell something good coming from you.. and even how much i love you but if you dont love me you wont smell something from me....

Its kinda hard to explain... hope it worked though

Not related but need some help on this one

Hmm I have now reread the hole series and seen more views, tried to understand both parties and not siding with only one of them. I would say Kagami and Shingo, we can’t compare them to each other since they’re too different and have their own personality. Kagami is more “cold-hearted” and u can see how “cold” he is to his brother and the other dude that tries to get close to him. They even told him that he has an awful personality (≧∀≦)

But he acts so different when it comes to shingo, he spoils him, and we can se how much he loves him again and again and chases after him through the series form Book 1 until now and later on.

Both parties are to blame for they don’t communicate properly with each other and they are hurting each other. I felt really bad for Kagami in this book, I could see how hurt he was and he didn’t cheat, he said that both times when Shingo asked him and said that he could NEVER, like he pointed it out very clearly both times, but that was not enough for Shingo (he didn’t believe it)

This time it lies more in Shingo who don’t trust him enough and are insecure. And the explanation that Shingo can’t smell his scent anymore is cause he is insecure and afraid, like he doesn’t trust him enough, he need to work on his thoughts and confident. SINCE Kagami is still emitting the scent that he always has from the begging. He said he could still smell Shingos sweet smell and that his love and desire hasn’t faded or changed at all ! Kagami eyes was red after Shingo told him the night that he couldn’t smell him. We never see him cry but he still gets as hurt as any other person

So answer to ur question is that Shingo can’t smell it cause he is doubting Kagami and don’t believes. Kagami is still the same as he always has and he can smell Shingos scent

there is but unfortunately we are already up to date with the raws with chapter 20
