I mean I don’t like him that’s for sure cause I already know he likes ryeojoon and I don’t really want anyone to get between them. It’s fine if he does nothing to their relationship, it’s just that it doesn’t look like he’s doing very good things in future chapters. There’s been pics where it looks like he made BOTH hamin and ryeojoon really mad. And one raw chapter where he acts pretty smug while claiming he doesn’t care if rumors were to be about something between him and ryeojoon- (which hamin responds that he should at least care about ryeojoon’s reputation). Those probably are a couple reasons why they hate him
