i would have felt more comfortable if take shows more love towards hiroi. That way it will feel balanced. I read mangaka's afterwords but I think what she/he intends to say in the manga is misleading. Right now it seems as though take wants mine but not hiroi while the other two love two people. Basically I csnt really see take's love for hiroi to be equal to his love for mine like the mangaka said.

I see, that's fair. To me, Mine and Take like to take care of Hiroi, and Hiroi is emotionally needy so that works out well. Take and Mine have a lot of sexual chemistry (which is why they're so good with each other in sex and fight a lot) but they are incapable of being lovey dovey with each other. Rather, Mine is very lovey dovey with Hiroi while Take and Hiroi understand each other better than anyone else, so the emotional connections are stronger.
I see it this way because Ive had a relationship with romantic love but the sexual chemistry was not there for me, and obviously I've had a best friend (not like this lol) so I can delineate the different types and see their respective importance.

Ohh I think you made me realize that I don't have a deep understanding of how friends with benefits works and when I see Take and Mine so sexually compatible it made me feel like Hiroi is being indirectly kicked/left out. My interpretation must have been off mark because I subconsciously insert love (not friendship) into that sexual interaction. Obviously it's easy to understand friendship, at least for me, but when it gets tangled up with lust, it's a mystery to me. So yeah I guess I have a lot to learn :/ I still can't imagine how one cannot develop love when you're that into sex with another person. Unless I experience it myself I won't truly understand -maybe.

Ahh I see. For most women (inc me) love and sex are more intertwined, so I agree with you on that, and generally different from when men have sex (with exceptions of course). Men (lucky for them haha) have a much easier time getting an orgasm because it's more "mechanical" for them vs women who are more complex and usually takes a variety of things for us (emotions, foreplay, our mood etc) to reach orgasm.
In real life I definitely agree this would be a tenuous relationship, but I believe it's mostly lust on Take's part because if Mine broke up with Hiroi, Take would stay with Hiroi and lose all interest in Mine (because of the lack of deep emotional connection between the two). On Mine's part, Mine treats Hiroi as a traditional boyfriend would treat a girlfriend, as Mine offers Hiroi to essentially not work and let Mine provide for him, but Mine would never offer that to Take.
I guess I feel strongly for this threesome because in an ideal world I would love to be in a relationship like this lol but alas yaoi is only a fantasy.

Yep yep yaoi is only fantasy and does not equate relationships btw gay men in reality at all (I knew that in my head but reality really hits when I expanded my circle of friends and gain more male homosexual friends) Shounen Ai is like an ideal world for me (the pure/innocent parts of yaoi I mean smut is gold but I mean no rape plots etc) Ok so I keep applying these logic that doesn't apply to Yaoi I guess?? I try not to but I have to remind myself to switch gears orz Yeah so if the relationship is like how you explained it so far I think my initial viewpoint got transformed :p If it's not tiring and we're not just waiting for the tension to break them all apart and they're honestly contented with what they have then it works! Polygamy is hard to pull off but if it works I don't see how it's bad :) It could be even more healthy and exciting with more dynamics and stuff I don't know what I'm talking about haha (●'◡'●)ノ
