Yeah, I agree and I finished it. It wasn't bad but I don't think it's as amazing as a lot of the reviews stated. I guess the main characters were both so "middle of the road" that they were just kinda there, if that makes sense. It is beautifully drawn and sweet but I feel like the conflicts were resolved without a fuss and it felt a little too safe. I think the dads story would be a lot more interesting.
