me not liking the side couple whatsoever: they’re like both so stupid, one has had a crush for ten years and now is forcing the orange haired guy to date him, and orange haired guy is leading him on and will probably have the basic ~suddenly i have feelings for him~ plot

The orange haired guy isn't leading him on though, when the other guy confessed he flat out rejected it... they only reason why he agreed to the dating thing is because he didn't want to lose his friend based on his terms.
The guy isn't forcing either, he had a choice of going out with him or not being friends anymore. Which is basically the deal when you confess to a friend anyway.

That is true when it comes to fiction, particularly with bl and shoujo I've noticed, if we're talking about manga/manwha specifically. Just wish it wasn't the case because, while it's fiction, it's still unhealthy and unfair to the other party. I get really invested in fictional characters so stuff like this sometimes bothers me a bit, depending on how its executed on the writers part. In the case of this story tho admittedly it bothers me less bc it was agreed that if he still didn't have feelings after a month they'd remain friends. Cutting someone important out of your life after 10 years even tho the other party did nothing wrong would just be cruel :(

I completely disagree. You’re basically saying that he should be more considerate towards Geo woon but I think you should be more understanding towards his situation. This is the only way he can think of that will help him get over Geo woon. It may be too difficult to be around him because he’s kept his feelings bottled up for so long. Holding in your feelings for 10 years probably didn’t feel very nice. He couldn’t handle it anymore and wanted to see if there was a chance before giving up completely. Geo woon wasn’t forced into anything. It’s one month of going on dates, etc. in order to get his friend back, so he thought it was a fair deal. Seo Hun (?) can’t continue being friends with Geo Woon if he still thinks that there is a chance they can be more. That is the character’s feelings. It is not realistic based on YOUR personal experiences but it’s pretty realistic based on mine. I dated a friend of mine for a month and we stopped being friends afterwards because of the situation.

I think you misunderstood me a bit, I meant that in this scenario i wasn't as bothered by it because he wasn't really being forced into it, I never said he was. One month and if there's no feelings, back to being friends. There was a part i mentioned about that sort of thing being unhealthy but I was referring to other stories where there's similar situations that are executed in a way that's toxic, not this one. Also there's a bit of a difference between solely being rejected/rejecting without dating and still being friends and going back to being friends with someone you actually dated, the latter is much more difficult for a lot of people understandably. But if people can't go back to being friends because of a rejected confession then that means that there's a lack of maturity from at least one of the two, from my experience, or it wasn't a strong friendship to begin with. Also why do you sound so mad about this? I don't think this is something to get that worked up over

Ah okay, I guess I misread your tone then. Also yes people experience these situations differently, but arguably if we're just talking about rejected confessions towards friends and not dating and breaking up, if we're talking about a good, close, solid friendship where both parties truly deeply care about one another, I'd say it's very immature not to just work past that. If you're not close friends I can see it being more understandable and how it could get awkward or uncomfortable in those cases, but if it's like examples in a lot of these stories where the characters in question have been best friends for years and care about each other deeply in a sense that isn't solely romantic, and turns out one has feelings and confesses and the one rejected refuses to be friends after the rejection then yes, I see that as immature.

me when i saw the rape warning: FUCK yes a responsible yaoi that WARNS us instead of shoving it in our face

i don’t enjoy rape by any means but when it is included most stories don’t warn you, like my suha (which i dropped because of the reason they didn’t include a warning) i would prefer it if they didn’t include it in general but when they warn me i don’t have to go into it and suddenly having a bad feeling in my chest because i didn’t know it was gonna happen.
why is everyone reading the stories in the wrong order Σ( ̄□ ̄||)
and i really wanted to see the uke give the seme head i’m heartbroken
