I just want her to kill the red dragon and ends his misery already cuz hear me out, he killed a lot of people, yes, but we do need to remember that he's a beast who wasn't taught love and companionships that human has. Despite the long age he lived around humans, that fact doesn't change. No one taught him humanity, and he could only observed inhumane actions from the humans around him. It's a bit unfair to expect him to be able to understand the compassion and humanity of good humans, isn't it? Plus, there are few instances that implies he could not make sense heads nor tails on why Mir is upset he killed her parents because he was thinking exactly as Mir was in the beginning of the story (before she truly loves the knight's family as her own), which is as a beast looking at a smaller species who has betrayed his trust and hurt him. His mindset was that of an intelligent beast (who have only learnt betrayal and pain from humans) so I shall not be judging him by using human standard. Just because he looks like a human doesn't mean he IS one. He is a hurt and betrayed animal lashing out to what he deemed as the source of his pain. If anything, humans started this, so there is a bigger mark to put the blame on other than him. I see no reason to view him as a human or hold him to human's standard. Just kill him already. If an animal is hurt and can't be saved, just put it down and move on. Mourn that animal if you love and pity them, but if that animal has hurt your family, you're not obliged to mourn it. For example, you don't expect the family of the humans killed by Tilikum or Harambe to mourn the animals since they lost someone they love to those animals, right? Same concept.
And yeah no. I don't like Kayn. Team cinnamon roll Vetron all the way.

This is the third or so manhwa that I read where some people complained that an abused, neglected, gaslighted MC was weak and not a bad bitch from the start. Strength comes from growth, moreover if the start was littered by pain and abuse. It took years for real people to crawl their way out of their trauma into a somewhat a better state of mind peace, and even then their scars can't be fully healed. Y'all privileged readers clearly have never known what character development is and obviously has zero logic skill in your skill sheet if you whined that this kind of MC is weak simply because she isn't kicking ass right of the bat after gaining powers. Where do you live that people get over trauma so easily like that? Disneyland? Well, you need to come back to earth. Try to put yourself in her shoes and consider her situation as realistic as your air-filled head could. While magic and demons are fantasy, mental health is a real issue, moreover for people of our age who have more exposures to information regarding mental health. So if you have at least a single brain cell left, go and educate yourself about mental health and how it affects a person in the long run and come back here (and other manhwas with similar MCs) with a new perspective on the story.
Hell, MC is already doing so well. Her mental state is a wreck after the abuse she went through (are we forgetting that she was tossed to death by the sperm donor that gaslighted and abused her for literal 20 years) and yet she still dive straight to the danger zone regardless of everything to save her people. That is courage. That is a badass move. That is a strong heart of a protagonist.
Do not equate kindness for weakness. And for the love of god and everything that is both holy and unholy, stop this concerning trend of concluding that a badass woman is only someone who can do what a man can. That only implies that YOU consider everything that is traditionally feminine and "woman-like" (like being gentle, soft-spoken, considerate etc etc) is weak. Kinda absurd that the only way for females to be badass is when they imitate what that men stereotypically do.
TLDR, Ludis doesn't have to wield Lavane's powers like a madman thirsty for revenge and blood in order to be a strong female character. I want to see Ludis to grow beyond the pain that littered her beginning and wield Lavane's power with kindness and courage. This is the MC who goes straight into danger zone, even when she herself is unsure of the limits of the power she wielded, for the sake of her people. Nobody helped her when she needed it most and now she wanted to be that person who she once needed. Sometimes, gentle kindness is more formidable than the sharpest blade and Ludis has the potentials for that.
K, thank you for coming to my TED talk. Bye
Thank you. Couldn't have said it any better.
*chefs kiss* beautiful ted talk
Wonderful wonderful tedtalk
THANK YOU. I'm tired of seeing people complain about how "weak and pathetic" the FLs are because they "can't get over her abuse instantly". I find it ignorant, disrespectful, and rude to the people IRL who have gone through abuse and trauma.
Well said!! (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
