as someone who has not read the novel, the contents of this chapter was so unexpected. i didn’t realize we would get a ”flashback” to a scene we’ve never seen before, which is post-aeroc death. to see older clough and the kids that are now adults is actually quite nice i wish i could read more of it. clough breaking down aeroc’s grave from blind rage was wild. i almost feel like clough is blaming aeroc for making him this way as well, that the latter “killed” the former’s past self. this story has a lot of nuance and a mix of emotions.
why did dohyeok slap siwoo in chapter 143?
Because he got scared and panicked. When dohyeok was assaulted his eyes were covered throughout the whole thing and Siwoo also covered his eyes and then he started choking him which further aggravated him
