At first, I thought this was going to be one of those typical yaoi mangas where the author introduces two grown up characters that have liked each other since their school days, but doesn't touch upon the development of their relationship. Needless to say, I'm pleasantly surprised! Not only is this the author giving a really good backstory, they are also not rushing it so that the characters immediately do it, even when there are many opportunities to (the sleeping naked scene, for example). However, I could deal without the drunk sex/foreplay scenes cuz I really feel as if that's taking advantage of someone in a vulnerable state, and isn't anything to romanticize.

Dude, I think they reason that Karam and Jaewon feel so wrong together is because they both look like ukes (or bottoms) and also because they just did not go through as much as Junseo did with Jaewon. While I'm glad Jaewon is happy, I just feel so crushed for lil' Junseo because he gave so much of his time and advice in helping Jaewon, all while feeling for him. :(

Trust me, I am so happy that Sunghee and Suhyeok got together because I was always rooting for them. It's just that I am so used to reading yaoi/shounen ai where both of the characters thoughts and feelings are explicitly conveyed that Suhyeok not showing much lovey-dovey emotion toward Sunghee (i.e. blushing, being super happy, etc) is throwing me off guard. I know of course that you don't have to do these things to be in love, it's just that I got so used to that being the pattern in other yaoi/shounen ai that it's off-putting and slightly concerning.

Yes! They definitely do, especially if they are a genuinely caring person (at least toward the one they love). It's just been implanted in our minds that if there are no outward expressions of love (like cuddling, holding hands, blushing, smiling at each other, etc), then there is no love at all, which isn't the right sort of message at all. Not all people explicitly express their love like that.

I think mangaka meant to pull a kdrama male protag on us with suhyeok.. male leads in kdrama often come off as cold, but they still express their love through their actions.. i think suhyeok has been nothing but sweet to seunghee, but its would be even better if we get to hear something on his part too

the plot is confusing,,, can anyone explain in simpleton terms?? pls and thx

Uke's (brown haired guy) family is in debt so he does anything to get money
Seme (black haired guy) takes interest in uke after saving him. He basically is toying with him (pays a lot of money to him too)
In order to clear his debt, they sell uke to rich old guy for three months (old guy is going to die from cancer in 3 months, he wants to live life to the fullest)
seme is the nephew of old guy and saves the uke by buying/paying for him.
Uke is then free and some time p asses when he gets a call from the uncle.
Uncle wants him to seduce the seme and he will pay him a lot of money if he does it. I think it is one of those "pretend to fall in love with him to hurt him but uke reall y does fall in love" type of stories.
Goodness gracious, there are truly no words to express how much I love this manga and the author... it's just so powerful and real and touching!! <3 much love
Agreed.
I find it to be at the very top, along with 19 Days.
Incidentally, do you happen to know any other works that are on the same level (and, preferably, length) as these? ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
