For me, Kael has been showing his affection more and more.. Starting from the garden scene when Hestia was in awe how he is good that flower arrangements.. When he was on Hestia side when they had a meeting with the emperor and the royal couple.. When he wanted to kiss her but his spectacles gets in the way.. When he is touched how Hestia was worried about him first stepping back to the palace.. When he worried for Hess after Hess saw him talking with that pink creature in the palace garden..when he is worried why prince would want to meet his wife..the way he just find how adorbs Hestia is when she was worried he misunderstood the library incident and wash away his insecurities at that moment.. and today takes the cake.. The way his love and affection for her gradually grew.. Is sooo beautiful.. It's not sudden.. It is bits by bits through the love Hestia has been pouring to him and the people he loves(the people in his manor and his subjects)

Yes but those are the parts where he is falling in love with Hestia and realizing his feelings, however he has never been so open about those feelings hence why I feel like him openly expressing his feelings/thoughts like that in front of a crowd and Hestia no less is kind of sudden ʅ（　•－•）ʃ

1. Kael siding with Hestia in front of the royals
2. Telling off the prince if anything he needs to say to Hess he can go through him instead
3. Voiced his worried (n he shows it in his face, the scrunch) about the designer comments about showing more skin? Or smthg where they end up doing the arms painting and him choosing a design that he thinks best suited his wifey
4. Voicing how he appreciates Hestia effort caring for him n his people (yes we can appreciate as friends/someone who feels indebted but lovers also do things like friends would to show their love to their lover aside from seggx ofc - - like spending time together, celebrates, giving gifts, protecting each other etc)
5. The way he looks at Hess and the almost kiss part (even Hess has somewhat realize it but she tried her best to not succumb n thinks of it as herself being delulu fan)
6. Worried for Hess condition when Hess found him n that pink at the garden

For me this is his action love language that can be seen and understood by people aside from himself (meaning not just a monologue feeling that only he would be aware of the changes) therefore him being open with his feelings for Hess
