This would have a higher rating if not for chapter five. It's like it was uploaded under the same the wrong manga.
I liked this a lot, but it also made me incredibly angry. I get his thought process of not telling him that the string was connected, he wanted him to have some one if it didn't work out. BUT it was very unfair to not give him the opportunity to choose and also unfair to the girl, because even if Hara and Kaoru did work out she wouldn't have the opportunity to find a new soulmate. I also hate when characters self sacrifice out of doubt in their relationship, themselves, and because they feel like they don't deserve happiness. I have been in that position too many times to count and it angers me to see.
Unfair of him to not give the seme the option to cut the string by hiding the fact that it had connected.
Because he knows the seme would choose to cut the string. The seme wants to be with him and would never choose the girl. Him not letting the seme cut it means you now have a third party involved who can’t find a new soulmate because hers in already in a relationship that he wouldn’t choose to leave. Not cutting the string also means that her string doesn’t get to reattach to someone else. Therefore she doesn’t get to have a new fated person. Therefore it is unfair to her.
I like the original art style a lot better. Full color is cool, But I vibed with the coloring in the original more.
I don't know what it is about this webtoon, maybe its how beautiful the art is or the sweetness of the relationship between them, but it all make me want to cry. Not from sadness though, like I'm overwhelmed from the absolute beauty of it all. It actually makes me feel. A lot of times I find myself reading Webtoons and I find that I don't believe in the love between the two characters, this makes me believe in love and dreams.
Am I the only one who feels like there is a lack of depth/sincerity in their relationship. Probably one of the reason I almost dropped this... I just don’t think it’s god tier like a lot of people here.
I think I was really good at first, but then the uke accepted the seme way to fast. I wanted the seme to me the uke fall in love with him sincerely since he did not like the seme at first but then he just randomly accepted his feelings and returned them? It could have been top tier, but the author decided to rush it right before it was about to get good
I agree. Maybe it’s because I’ve been reading since it came out and I don’t remember properly, but I also feel like their relationship was really based around sex rather than feelings and a bit superficial..
