Ok, what to say? I thought this manga was interesting (until a couple of chapters ago) because it depicted so well this kind of abusive relationship, I really felt disgusted and in pain during the scenes with Hikaru. I hoped the senpai could save Haruki, but no he had to be the usual useless man who can't distinguish between consesual sex and abuse, he blamed Haruki and that was the end for him. More than the senpai's behaviour I hated the ending, I hate how Haruki developed feelings (?) for his abuser, I hate that Hikaru is considered a victim too, I hate how Haruki can't get hard as if the author wants to tell us that Hikaru would stay by his side even if they can't have sex. I wasn't expecting a happy ending and I admit this kind of story is realistic, my problem though is what the author wanted to communicate with this. If she wanted to say "look, these bad things exist" that's ok, but if the goal is to tell the story of poor kid who was "too" in love to stop his desires, well this is really the worst.
Ugh yess it’s so lovable (≧∀≦) They aren’t focusing on fetishizing men for once, it’s just about their love and the gender doesn’t matter also I adore how everyone is so supportive of ida+aoki esp because they were so scared of the homophobic ppl
The thing is that in a lot of real shonen there are scenes of sexual tension between the characters (not as strong as the one in this chap but anyway) and now I imagined these mangaka sent to the bl section lmao
