I'm up to where Ranzou is getting his hair cut...
*SPOILER*
I DIDN'T EXPECT HIS BROTHER TO STAB HIS EYE
WHY
I'M JUST SHAKING RIGHT NOW
HE WAS SMILING SO INNOCENTLY, TOTALLY UNAWARE OF THE HATRED HIS BROTHER FEELS
AND BOOM HE GETS STABBED
I CAN'T EVEN FLIP TO THE NEXT PAGE
(/TДT)/
TT^TT But I've just learned to not judge by how a manga starts off...
Should I continue...? Does it get better? :(
The spoilers in the comments aren't nice spoilers...
What you saw was just an illusion. Keep reading.
Okay, so.
I've held off from this manga for uhh... 2 or 3 years already.
The beginning is very angsty, and even now, my heart breaks.
BUT, I READ ON THIS TIME (Second Life by this mangaka is one of my fav manga, and after rereading the second story of Fuson na HoA, I just had to give this a try)
THIS MANGA IS ACTUALLY ADORABLE!!! BOTH THE FIRST AND SECOND STORY
SPOILERS BELOW (First story)
*Spoiler about the beginning ish*
My heart ached when it was implied that Uncle just decided to hold Reo because he was bored and sexually frustrated
Nope
Reo was given a drug by his "friend" who pretended to be a good guy (I feel ashamed that I shipped them at first)
The drug took a while to set in, and when Uncle came home, he begged uncle to help him out
Honestly, this doesn't really justify the other times Reo was held, though. That was basically rape
If it makes anyone feel better, Reo realized how gentle Uncle actually is?
*More spoilers*
Kinda obvious, but the guy Reo saved from committing suicide is Uncle!!
Oh, Uncle also got rid of his scary look and went back to office work
AND PAGE THAT SHOWED HOW UNCLE SECRETLY MADE A BENTO FOR REO WHEN HIS MOM REFUSED, THOUGH
TOO CUTEEEEE (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
I thought this was gonna be a dark manga but....
WAHHHH THIS IS ADORABLEEEEE
;^: I wish older bro was still alive though...
Or if we knew for a fact that his spirit is actually resting at the grave
Wouldn't it be cool if Bear could kinda make a bear that could take on a human form too?
That way, it'll kinda be Ronet and Bear's kid x3

At the police station:
"He's been coming here every day to see you since"
Is Tooru being held at the station? Why?
When the police or whoever asked Tooru:
"For whose sake did you commit the crime for?"
Crime? Does he mean beating the mother up? Didn't Satoru do that?
"I will forever wait for your return"
It seems like they've been separated?
If Tooru is being held at the station for questioning, Satoru wouldn't have to use the word "forever"
What happenedddd? TT^TT
OKAY I FEEL SO DUMB RN
EVERYONE PLEASE IGNORE THIS
I didn't read/look carefully and thought it was Tooru at the end, and not Satoru <_<
It all makes sense now >.<
But...
Why the actual fk is he being taken in
His mother deserved getting beat up
I honestly feel like the case should have been disregarded
Like, bring the mother to the hospital and be done with it
There's no need to punish Satoru, especially when he did it on a whim
It should have been treated like how a "self-defense" case would have been treated ( ̄へ ̄)
I think the one being held is satoru, the little brother, and it seems that yeah, he maybe hit the mother. So, the one who give the letter is tooru. But I'm being dumb too, what the seventh sin? I'm confused
Spoiler
the mom was making tooru have sex with her.
oh.. shit. that terible
thanks anyway~
The seventh sin I think was having sex with his mother
