Before a certain chapter, I've always thought it was they just happened to have met again (by pure accident) and so I gave him the benefit of the doubt that he didn't come looking for Noah for the purpose of inheritance. But that idea got debunked since someone had told us that in the Korean raws the synopsis included that the issue of inheritance is at play, while the English translation had left that out....idk why?

Anyways, regardless of inheritance issues, I still feel that Ian at least SOMEWHAT cares for Noah.

Two things, first of all, if you were at the phase where you were a young adult in your early twenties and were in college and did not want a committed relationship, whether you were playing the field or not, then when you have broken up with your FWB there is no reason for you to seek out that person you have severed ties with, unless you are both comfortable remaining friends, which hadn't seemed to be the case, or at least both needs time for cooling down, but probably not since Ian can tell Noah likes him, and seeking him out could act as a sign to Noah that Ian wanted more. Friendship aside, although they are mated, it seems that in this omegaverse there is no real backlash from the mating bond if both parties were to be physically separated, especially during their ruts and heats. Since it didn't seem to bother Ian nor Noah to be apart from their mates Ian didn't have to seek out Noah, and Noah didn't have to fight his instinctual urges to be with Ian either. So the priority of looking for Noah is low. Now if inheritance is at play then sure, it is time for him to come find his mate. It could always be, in addition to the inheritance issue, that Ian wants to settle down. At any point in time a person can change his or her mind. And this is a whole FIVE YEARS LATER. (I had a friend proclaim she never wants to be in a relationship again and remained single for a year and next thing you know she's married. And this SAME girl that had always said I hate children and didn't want any got pregnant a year later.)

As far as the inheritance goes, Ian had suspected SiYeon to be his child, since SiYeon inherited the gene that only affects hyperdominant alphas in his family. When Noah had gone in search of a treatment for his son's disorder, SiYeon came onto Ian's family's radar, and hence Ian's radar. So it was about a little over a year ago that Ian had found out he possibly had a child with Noah. Since Noah had been using his Korean birth-given name, it would probably have been harder to find him, though not impossible. Idk if Noah had tried HARD to remain undetected using his Korean name but it makes the most sense to use his birth given Korean name in his mother country where he has been living. But since SiYeon had been sick and Noah had to look for a cure, SiYeon came under Ian's family's radar, and thus Ian's radar. And that's how he found Noah, and found out they had a kid together. According to Ian he had waited for Noah to come to him for help, even if not for anything else, at least to help cure the kid (since Ian's family is the only one researching the cure for that particular disorder and has better quality meds) or for financial aid.

I don't know how much is due to the inheritance and how much it is because Ian cares, but Noah had been struggling to provide for SiYeon in working extra hours, finding someone to watch him, and to only able to provide low-quality meds for him that has strong drowsiness side effects, so for Ian to step in is a miracle. Ian had said to Noah that "for someone who is so smart, you didn't [use your brain to] come find me". Noah had indeed not put his son's well-being above his own, fighting against the idea of reaching out to Ian for help. Ian said he had waited but Noah didn't come, so then he went and sought Noah out himself. So I wouldn't say he had "waited" five years. Whatever his motive now, he had waited about a year, the time since he's got SiYeon and Noah on his radar.

I'm not sure why you said that "I always think I'm right". I've not seen you write more an a short paragraph regarding anything.

Well, I'm glad you like my "crazy shits". If he really wanted to rape the omega he didn't have to wait five fucking years. And since he's mate-bonded to an omega, he could have had his fill with any other omegas too. Since he's now bonded and don't have to worry about binding anymore, and if this omegaverse only allows for conception with his pair, then he's free to roam and f- other omegas to his heart's content. Why would he have need for Noah?!? Just take the kid and run.

ikr... let's say ian's family found about the kid becoz every time noah bought meds for the kid of course there's a receipt. meaning they could track down who purchased that medicine. since it's the seme family who's i dunno let's say producing that medicine becoz ian also have that decease. maybe that's the time ian also found out bout noah whereabouts. maybe it took him long to face them because maybe he's thinking if it is really his kid. this is just my assumption tho
