apparently they kissed in school trip before (the mc is drunk, the ml is not). mc thought the whole kiss was a dream. ml thought they're gonna be a thing cuz they kiss. but the mc felt awkward and he thought it was a dream so he acted goofy. cuz of that action i guess the ml thought the mc is being homophobic & didn't want to have a relationship with a man. breaks my heart but it's very understandable. the desperate one here is the ml damnnnnn. even tho he's hurt and misunderstands the whole situation, he still keeps following the mc secretly.
