Unfortunately there wasn’t a lot but I can summarize what I do know. Hopefully this hides the spoilers
People were saying they had a truly loving relationship. Based on the novel, it is definitely romance centered and quite funny at times. Their development isn’t slow but not too fast. Halfway into the story, they become a true couple so to speak. Turns out her daughter in the original timeline became very powerful (spirit powers) and lived around 500 years. Her only regret was her mother’s death and treatment. So she turned back time to give her mother a second chance to survive. Even if that means she wouldn’t be born potentially. Anyways, her mother, the FL in this timeline, does become stronger and more cut throat in a sense. She ends up killing her abusive step sister by luring her into a trap. I don’t read anything about the emperor ending up with multiple partners. And normally that’s something people are quick to mention. I didn’t read anything about what happens to Gaviel tho. Theres very limited spoilers out. I think someone may of been thinking of a different story when you read he ended up with multiple partners. I know sometimes sites will also accidentally pair incorrect comment sections with stories.
Another possibility is maybe they meant he may have more potential empress candidates appear that she will have to defeat? Idk.

So after reading the available chapters, I’m pretty confident that they will be in a monogamous relationship. Spoilers ahead
She does meet a branch family of the Gabriel family that offers her support and help with the spirit. In exchange, they wish that they show support to their younger sister and promote her as future empress. She agrees but by time there’s an opportunity to introduce the sister, she decides against it and displays to the branch family her ability to read the emperors emotions, revealing a level of intimacy no one has ever achieved. This sparks the branch family to formulate a new plan, but hasn’t been revealed yet. I do suspect they will ultimately support the FL as empress, however. It’s also revealed that there was another woman, Caroline, that was very interested in the emperor back when they were in school. She was killed by the Gabriel family because that woman was the daughter of a powerful family and had potential as an empress. Currently, only the red headed lady, Betty, remains as a potential empress candidate after killing off Caroline. Carolines family was grief stricken and retreated from the social word. The father became a comatose zombie from grief. The mother, however, decided to pursue the underworld business to wait for the opportunity to get revenge against the Gabriel family. On the surface, they gave up their properties to the empire but were promised to receive them back once they felt capable and no longer in mourning. Caroline’s mother arranged for FL to meet her in secrecy and they bond together. Carolines mother offers to support the FL and wishes for the FL to become empress, allowing her to get revenge against those who killed her daughter. However, the two ultimately bond and Caroline’s mother offers to be the godmother of the FL. They form a genuine relationship. The emperor and the FL briefly go through a cold period after the FL is poisoned. The ML was concerned his attachment to her was clouding his judgement but he eventually accepts that he’s genuinely falling for her. The FL slowly is beginning to awaken to her feelings as well. Acknowledging that she wants him just to herself, but acknowledges that he needs an empress with a powerful backing. At this point, it’s kind of implied that the FL will gain that powerful backing through Caroline’s mother and building connections with a few other key political players, allowing her to become empress. Not like FL realizes that quite yet. Anyways, the story is def set up for monogamy.
So . In the end FL has to fight for the Ml. Now i hate this story more.Why does the guy have to sacrifice her self-respect and run after the ML? Can't se find someone else for her. Through this kind of shitty ML and find yourself someone who truly loves you and wants to stay with you. She basically suffered in her past life because of him.

Emperor falls for FL first. Emperor protects her and concedes to his feelings. However, he recognizes she doesn’t want to sleep with him. At all. So he tries to maintain that distance while trying to seduce her into falling in love with him willingly. Originally, he was seducing her with no real feelings for her. But his actions take a shift once he realizes he does have an interest in her. As for her, she still hadn’t quite fully recognize her feelings for the emperor. She mentions wanting him to herself and entertains the thought, but ultimately moves on. Her priority is protecting her life. What I didn’t mention is that there’s two attempts towards her life at that point in the story. The threat of Gabriel is looming and the people around her explain that the emperor is likely just using her to reduce the power of Gabriel. However, once she gains power herself, she is likely to be abandoned. But with how the story is being set up, it appears that once she gains power, she will become empress (not like she realizes this or really wants that persé). She won’t be abandoned. Ultimately, emperor falls first. She does later.
That’s the thing tho… she doesn’t fight for him. At no point is her goal him. Her goal is survival. And that means turning into a badass based on the spoilers. He’s more like an after thought to her. While he’s more into her than she into him.
