Chap80 : The conversation with lady Vasello didn’t make sense. It was all over the place with hidden meanings. Like who’s the rude one ? Rias clearly said “the child was rude” so why did lippe say that he’s calling the lady rude. Plus the adult referring to an 8 year old opinion to settle the argument is so unrealistic it’s annoying
Chap81 : The way lippe ran away was out of character and Rias’ personality is so inconsistent, acting cold and like a jerk in chap81 but thinking he’s caring in the chap82

Adults referring to the 8 year old isn't unrealistic in that stylized time period If he is male and has a significantly higher rank. His personality isn't inconsistent, people can act differently while feeling different emotions. I'm sure he has some kind of internal conflict of having to stay away from her but liking her

He wasn't acting cold though. He was joking with her by repeating what had happen in their past life by saying what he and her said then. He was subtly telling her that he remembers their past life as well. Everything he is doing is to get her to know he remembers. He literally acting out of character whenever she is around even his servant sees it.
Honestly none of the 3 love interests deserve him. He should just escape on his own, away from the palace snakes
