I’ve reread the manga a couple times so I do remember most of the characters but not too much of the story before he proposed. However it all seemed a bit abrupt for me. I don’t mind. I wish we had more lovey dovey moments tho. It’s not marked as completed so I’m hoping there’s going to be lots of extras.

Yeah. Imo it was a bit forced just to make the uke a virgin. Which doesn't have much of a point since he's not dating the seme, so whether he has sex or not, he's not cheating (well, he might just prefer it; idk about his sex friend though...). Pretty sure it's just to satisfy the people who hate "slut" ukes who don't save their virginity for the seme (yet they don't hate the seme who "sluts" around... ¯_(ツ)_/¯))
