The plot was This area has a lot of immigrants, but few koreans, UH OHH The kids are bullying the Koreans and superwhiteboy came in to save the day by saying Nigga to the kids because they were mocking him and yada yada yada
Honestly, you should have read it yourself. There's also the fact that there's military propaganda but i don't really care for that cus im not korean along with reinstating corporal punishment which i don't really care for cus some children NEED to get their ass beat to learn.

Basically there was a place where the imigrants were the majority of the population conpared to koreans, and the immigrant kids(mostly blacks) were saying racist shit to the korean kids, so Daniel said something racist back. Even though that doesn't even make sense, the censored word was missing one "x" letter for the hard R to be completed. So in the end the word was "Nxxxx" (yes the x's existed in the original text), if we fill in the missing letters we have... niger. That's not a word lol. It just sounds like a dumb version of Nigel. Maybe it was meant to be nigro? Which is not a slur, just means black in latin.
Nigga nor the hard r were ever written in this manhwa, through it was definetly alluded to.
Should I read it? I started reading but the translation is horrible even at chapter 1. Will it get better?
I have been reading this for a while now so it has been a long time since I have seen the beginning chapters. I can say for sure the 100+ are great and filled with political plot that can go over your head instead. I cannot tell you how long the bad translation will be because I don't remember it. It might be over after a dozen chapters, for all I remember about it.
Instead, let me get you some plot facts to see if the story is worth it for you, since that's what I do remember. FL personal growth and improvement (no damseling or hits with the stupid love stick yet.) Slow burn romance. ML falls first. Political intrigue. Power struggle. Small but plot convenient misunderstandings (not in an annoying way.) A yandere is the background but not towards the FL yet, more in the power struggle. Romance has really only entered the chat after 60+ chapters with a little groundwork laid down before then. You can kind of forget the FL is someone in the plot of a book with plot knowledge.

I don't know.. It feels rushed. Also it's annoying that the FL is powerless and everyone else has to do the saving and stuff. ALSO DON'T THEY MENSTRUATE? Coz you know, that's also blood and you know, green... I know it's just a story but it kept bothering me (⊙…⊙ )

Okay so this is too much for me.. I think is should've ended with a happy wedding (ofc happy end for Mikey too). It keeps dragging on forever.. I think the last time trave is just way too much and useless
yeah i see this opinion often and some of you dont pay enough attention to the manga. the whole point of this final arc is that the reason for every corruption and the reason Takemichi had a hard time for so long was because Mikey kept getting corrupted and was easily able to stray from his path. Do you understand how unfulfilling an ending is when a character doesn't even get the development they deserve and it leaves a huge amount of plot armor? The author is doing something amazing to wrap up the work effectively and make all the character endings make sense. Just cause you can't notice such obvious character details, doesn't mean that nobody else noticed them.
While I respect your opinion because i used to think that, this is the last arc that everything is finally going to be explained. The last arc ending was heavy but pretty needed imo. [after this there are spoilers] every single ending, besides hina dying, mikey has either been missing or with another gang doing dangerous shit. After the hina situation was fixed( kisaki dead), the missing piece is still mikey. While it seems like its getting dragged out, every arc and there futures contribute to one another. It also shows how while hina was the main focus, as he got closer to the manji gang, he realized how everyone else needed saving from a horrible fate.. especially mikey. Honestly i love it so much I don’t want it to end so i have no problem but yea.

EXACTLY! though takemichi keeps trying to fix everything again and again, he never gets to the root of the problem which is mikey's loneliness and how he handles grief and overwhelming loss
