Well I think it makes a great contrast...the ML and the people around the MC are all freaks and has too much personality that it highlights the MC' s normality or naivety...

With how much the author likes to mislead or have the reader misunderstand i don't really think the last few panels are bad! I do think that the likelihood of him being "Frankensteins monster" adjacent is soooo fucking there!! I really think that he's the zombie and someone else's features and body was used for his human bit if that makes any sense,,
I find their dynamic interesting i guess. Maybe because I'm not used to toxic/ possessive mls or like unhealthy relationships but I am not liking what they've got going on,,, he's just not right for the mc. And the mc need to run as far away from him as possible and not look back . It is insane that he acts like this after not only killing his mother and manipulating his father, but also the fact he continues to maintain the relationship without at least telling him ANYTHING???
