Why is everyone saying it's dropped?
It's not though. It's only suspended indefinitely. It's still only on hiatus. Kakao never released any official announcement that it's dropped and is not tagged as "completed" (which is what they do to dropped stories). They also said that the discontinuation has nothing to do with the writer and illustrator (which is now working at another story on Naver, not odd since others do it too).
So although it's been a long time, it's still not dead. Let's pray they settle the issue and somehow miraculously continue this one

From what I gathered, it's not clear what the issue was, just that it's Kakao who had an issue and it has nothing to do with both writer and illustrator. So while Kakao is sorting that out, they worked on another story on Naver.
Sorry but it did get dropped, the notice saying this work will not be resumed due to internal issues was released by the studio long ago.
Stopped reading around 100ish because of the slow pacing and long waits. Told myself I'll just marinate it until it finished. Came back, it's 2024 and still not finished

Glad it's APL out of the other types of leukemia. I'm not an expert but I read before that that's one of the most "curable" types of leukemia, with super high remission (in the 90s percent), especially if it's caught early. Patients also have very high chance of being long-term survivors (also in the 90s percent). Still not 100% curable, but it's better than other types, especially with their world's level of technology.
