I see a lot of hate or maybe just dislike (?) for Mia and I just don't understand it. Most female characters that ppl like...I just don't I guess. Shelly is a nice enough character but I feel more of a character attraction to Mia. Can someone just explain why Mia is getting so much hate?
I don't like her because I think she doesn't really fit in with the crew. She didn't become a part of the group because of the sport. Her main reason for being with the crew is because of her crush on Jay. She even lost her chance with him since she lacked the courage to confess earlier in the story.She is one of the female leads in the story yet her personality is mostly meek unlike the other girls. She seems like the typical and unoriginal 'ugly' girl I see in alot of mangas. This is my opinion though. Feel free to disagree.
I have to disagree with the fact that she doesn't fit with the crew. Just because she isn't participating in the sport doesn't mean she should be excluded or just kept at a distance. That's basically excluding a friend from the group just because their hobbies don't match your own. That's wrong. The crush on Jay situation can be said for Shelly too. Shelly just happens to also be good at the sport. I see nothing wrong with being meek either. I'm not trying to attack or be defensive but I will/am just pointing out things I find to be...unfair? I'm not sure. Still I guess I respect that ppl feel differently about Mia.
I can kinda see it your way. Your right she shouldn't be excluded because her interest are different and there is nothing wrong about being meek. In real life I'm pretty meek too but I honestly can't love Mia because I prefer a stronger personality (I'm a hypocrite. I know~) in anime/manga/whatever for females. But I have to say I don't agree about Shelly. I think Shelly already had a passion for the sport and I honestly think she just fell in love with his bike riding skills.
I understand preferring a strong personality since I can be a bit of a hypocrite too and sometimes the meek attitude of certain characters in manga can annoy me. I didn't like Shelly at first because I thought she would be mean to Mia but she has grown on me and hopefully that continues so that I can really appreciate her character.
Thing with Mia is i don't hate her.....yes her meekness can be annoying & we have seen that type of character in soooooo many other female leads who are automatically paired with the MC. & I think a lot of people are tired of that kind of romantic storyline. It should be noted that the author does seem to be going out of his way to show that Mia is slowly trying to change and get out of her comfort zone. But personally I still don't want her to end up with the MC because that's too cliche. I want something different like maybe she ends up with Minu instead. Anyway that's just my take on it ╮(￣▽￣)╭
I want her to end up with Minu too actually (≧∀≦). I'm hoping VERYYY much that they hang out more and she starts to like him. I just didn't understand the hate and wanted to throw out my 2 cents I guess.

From the raws, it does look like Minu might have a chance with her but honestly it could go either way. I'm a very pessimistic person so I'm not trusting it unless i get solid evidence that she does indeed like him back & has given up her crush on Jay

This is the first time that I'm okay with whoever the heroine hooks up with in the end. Usually I'm firmly on one side and I supported the Brother but Gun has grown on me so if she picks either then I'll be satisfied. Although it is taking entirely too long to clear up misunderstandings which I see is becoming a pattern in Webtoons/Manhwa lately to stretch the story which is irritating. I'm still thankful for the story tho and that I'm able to read it.
I guess I'm alone when I say I prefer the 2nd pairing. In the first it was basically -rape until he begs for it- and -attempted rape- so I was more disgusted than enjoying it. The 2nd pairing is at least consensual even if obsessive.
I also liked the second one at first, but now it's starting to get kind of creepy...

Most people prefer 1st pairing of course because it's the main pairing and also because of Azusa. Like some said, he's a fighter. He DESPERATELY wanted to get revenge for what Karino did to him; it hurts his pride. Sure, he did beg for Karino to fuck him but that's just because his body and mind are starting to get use to it. Then, he kinda got this 'wake up' call after Karino refusing his 'friendly visit'. As for the 2nd pair, it was mainly because of Kusakabe. His low self-esteem and weak self is kinda endearing at first, but then he starts to lose it, depending too blindly on Kuze(yeah Kuze a jerk too), to the point he wanted to fucking stab someone out of posessiveness. And that annoyed many of readers (me included), well at least until this chapter. Still the story is progressing, I just hope the update is fast though.

When really the 1st couple with all that secrets, rape/forced, one kind of see where this is really going, a little typical and there isn't a lot of options on a conclusion..... on to the 2nd, I like it.(･∀･)ﾟ
I do so much because you think you got it but then it's not, then it sort of goes natural and then a twist and it just gets you like......should you really over think or not, a creepy but yet a satisfying twist??

I don't really like many of the characters. I hate sensei and the cheating bf is garbage. I like Tomo but he's a bit...foolish? simple-minded? plain stupid? I kinda understand why but yea. I'm mad at editor-san/childhood friend since sensei told him he wanted to fuck Tomo but he didn't try to stop him or warn Tomo but gets mad when he finds out sensei did it. You can't get mad when you were already told. -_-
