At the funeral of the office worked who committed suicide (played by the MC), the director of the documentary found someone who told them "I wasn't close with him, but I wish I could become his reason to live". That person wanted to become important enough for the office worker to keep on living instead of killing himself. This mirrors MC and ML, bc ML wants MC to stop thinking of his life as something he can throw away
