I have a list of things I want by the end of this story:
1. Cain to be happy and with some to appreciate his Himbo heart. I don't care of they're a girl or a guy. (He's a total switch though)
2. Jooin to get a few more functioning braincells. To get a backbone. To actually have a couple of friends and people to slap some sense into him for trying to go back to Yahwi.
3. Yahwi to mind his own damn business. He needs someone to tell him off, a full read on how much of a dick he is. Maybe get beat up a little. And therapy.
I really don't even like this story too much anymore but I still need to see what happens no matter how insufferable Yahwi is and how frustrating Jooin is.
Yeah tbh jooin really needs that one friend in bl who gives them advice and basically handholds the mc thru their rs...like there are so many tropes in this story where are the tropes when you need them
Cain deserves so much better. Honestly. I used to really like Jooin but he's getting on my nervous. Yahwi has lied and manipulated him time after time. Cain has been nothing but sweet to him and so friendly and kind. Yet despite aaaalll this he still listen to Yahwi and let's it affect him.
It's not even, "Oh Cain has been nice to you, you need to date him." It's more of, "Cain has been more of a friend to you than anyone else in the university. You suck because you're believing the words of someone who has been nothing but an asshole to you."
Jooin has no friends in this story. Literally tbe only person he had any ties to was Yahwi and as soon as Jooin makes a friend Yahwi is putting all this doubt into Jooin and he just believes it.
As a WLW I will use my powers to find him a better partner. Not to speak for all WLW but we've decided to put Jooin on suspension in the sapphic group and make Cain a full time member.

There are a lot of misunderstandings but I still really like this story... Mainly because Jiwon makes me laugh uncontrollably.
Also I like how both Jiwon and Myeonyin clearly are in love with each other but Jiwon's is more of a "Lets ride off into the sunset while my hair blows gloriously into the wind."
While Myeonyin is more of a "Oh god she's hot, I like her so much, she's hot, we're just friends, she's super hot and i want to-"
The fourth obstacle to Myeonyin and Jiwon to get together is here and she's hot as hell so now I'm nervous.
Oh Joon! My wonderful apple pie of a human!! He doesn't deserve to be hurt again. He should be with someone who treats him sweetly!!
If Yoon wants to be with out lovely Joon again he's going to have to work harder than any Love Interest before. I mean he's going to need the flowers, nice dates, ferris wheel confessions, and also have to sit through Joon having another love interest.

Tbh... TO THIS DAY I STILL WANT THE BFF AND MC TO BE TOGETHER!!! Childhood friends/ High school friends to lovers is my fave trope. And his Friend is totally a verse. He would be a great top.
Not to compare GL vs BL but you typically don't see this overly toxic crap in GL stories. I love both equally but I've been having so much fun reading GL stories (Sadistic Beauty: Side Story, Haena and Sora, and Wouldn't it be Great if you Didn't Exist).
But back on the BL. Yahwi has had absolutely NO CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT in over 50 chapters. He's just been the same moody, selfish, delusional, asshole.
Jooin has had character development (he's getting a bit of a backbone) and Cain has had his as well (noticing that he make like Jooin as more than a master/friend and him being nervous about it)
I really don't want to drop the story because I genuinely like Cain and Jooin and I want to see where their story goes but Yahwi really brings me down. He just brings down the energy, vibe, and just over all morale of the story. *Deep sigh*
Ok, let's all stop for a sec. I think Jooin has had character development in a way. He's saying no and speaking his mind. And yes, I'm pissed that he let that off brand, great value, dollar tree Kuroo wannabe get in his head but he's being cautious. He doesn't want to get hurt again
That's also to say once again.... JOOIN NEEDS SOME DAMN FRIENDS!! God!! This id the first Mc that I've seen be truly friendless 51 chapters in. And this is a modern day romance webtoon.The setting is at a school. Like??? Not even an acquaintance?
(Also Yahwi basically said to Jooin, "he's only friends with you so he can fuck you." Like i hate that man. Jooin honestly needs friends)
