I really hope this is not gonna disappoint me later on, but so far it's so refreshing. Like the sisterhood?! It's amazing?? Not just a needed change from the 'the protagonists are actually the wicked villains in disguise' trope, but also women wanting for other women to stand on their own feet instead of having to rely on any male counterpart? I loved Yurika so much when she expressed that. (And besides how cool is it regardless, to casually have a sister that's dating the crown prince while you're dating a war hero mage?? And instead of any competition these girls are just working as a sibling dream team)
And Yurika seems legit smart, beyond just the "I know the future so I can predict everything and build my empire based on that", making actual decisions inside the world about things that she couldn't have known without finding clues within that world. May be a bit mary sue, but I love our detective Yurika~
Also we love ourselves a ML who understands consent and self-regulation. It also seems like legit respects her as a whole and actually values her opinion, working with her in her plans rather than yet another classic trope of hiding plans from one another or trying to cage away the other because of the feared danger. They make a great team btw. The MC x ML dynamic is also where I'm worried the most thatit might shift the most later on, like in so many stories before, so fingers crossed that the dynamic holds up
In the end I still think Jeongwoo is kind of a brat. Sure he is also loving, but I'd probably go insane trying to read his mind all of the time and still having to deal with him ping-ponging back and forth in seconds about what he actually wants. But it seems like Eungi enjoys that so ~ At least hist taste in a partner has improved compared to his ex. Being bratty is still far better than a cheater after all.
Too bad that the only still available translation of the original version still switches the names half way through, that has always irked me. But I do remember how I was immediately disappointed by the remastered version and dropped it soon after, so I guess I'll still stick to this version.
Is this the one where the second couple looked like it started out of a forced, pretty much paid relationship? Because it looks hella familiar and if it was that, then I can understand why I probably dropped it before
Am I tripping? I noticed whenever I end up on alias sites of mangago, like .zone etc. The feed looks way different. Like the main feen here always has like 70% borderline porn and maybe 20% regression and 5-10% something else, but on the .zone feed I saw almost no porn, more fantasy and stuff. Is this random? Are they different sites?
I'm barely at chapter 14 and honestly taesung creeps me out. He appears like a textbook manipulator. I hope that's not gonna turn out to be reality. Also doesn't help that he looks pale as a ghost, but I shall not judge appearances I suppose
Couldn't get past chapter 5. Why the sexual harassment and coercion? That's so fucking unnecessary to the story and I already know that this will totally be swept under the rug and be treated as just a comedic way of the lead approaching the MC rather than what it is: assault
I mean, if I remember correctly, then it wouldn't be the first time for this author to make the second lead end game instead. And ngl, this time I wouldn't be mad if that happened.... there are some lessons to be learned here
Is this story wholesome and healthy or like abusive, age gap or what not?
I stumbled across the animation adaptation and all the comments were like 'wtf did I watch'. So now I wanna make sure whether those comments were just homophobic or this story is actually not as sweet and wholesome as the description makes it seem
Dang, I was not planning to read this, I hate psycho stories, but I just took a peek at chap 27 and now I want to see so bad how the confrontation is gonna play out .... Guess Imma have to come back just for that
God, why do they always have to be so fucking psycho. Both scamming s.o. for money and blackmailing s.o. into dating is so messed up. Not to mention stalking someone's private information and tracking them down?! Absolutely mental. I wonder if one day I will come across a story like this that is not completely messed up while pretending to be cute and funny. Definitely not wkth this one.
Why is it that in all of these stories these beaten parents (usually moms) always leave their kids in that abusive environment instead of running with them?
Looking at the raws, even without understanding the text I can see that my rage is gonna keep boiling for a lot of chapters to come. I guess I really should have stuck to marinating stories.
He would never hurt his partners? And a chapter later he does? Wtf
What's with this trope of kissing s.o. in their sleep without consent and why is this trope in what feels like almost every romance story, especially queer manga/manhwa? So many supposedly fluffy stories start with the same "I can't keep myself under control, so I'll secretly kiss them" bs and either the counterpart was secretly awake or thinks they're dreaming or sth, so ultimately that trope is just used to catapult them into the next stage of confessing, completely glossing over how serious that kind of action actually is. Let's be real for a second. Imagine you were sleeping and suddenly woke up to someone's face being literally right on top of yours, kissing you. That's not romantic, that's fucking terrifying... And I can say that now, after many years of devouring romance stories, thanks to a rationale and awareness that I built over time, but as a teen of course that seemed like a totally fine, cute action to me. After all that's how it was portrayed like 90% of the time.
And the worst part is, honestly, it's so unnecessary. There are infinite ways to write the story of the characters finally realizing each other's feelings without violating each other "because they couldn't help themselves". Ugh.
I knew he was gonna get his memories back eventually! But also until the very end this chapter confused the hell outa me about who was chasing whom and who was hallucinating
So the story starts out with fucking him while he's drunk and unconscious? I guess I can be thankful that at least it was established from the get go what kind of story this would be... I think I should skip this one and just enjoy the little brother's story hoping that that one will stay as wholesome as it is currently.
I do usually enjoy the 'villainess turns new protagonist' plots, but sometimes I think I'd really like a version that is a bit more relatable. Like the mc that transfers into that novel isn't all "oh I know every small plot point and am also really smart about political dynamics, economics and somehow also formal etiquette" and that stuff. I'd love an MC who's like "I have no fucking clue what tf I'm doing here". An MC who had read so many novels that there's no way they'd remember all the relevant details, or might not even remember clearly which novel with which particular plot they transmigrated into. Also, since it's usually a female protagonist, honestly I eeally want a FL that is all "yeah no, I'm not gonna get involved with any of those male characters. They usually always get lowkey (or highkey) obsessive and possessive over their love interest. Got no use for that shit."
And of course I know why the FLs always fail at their attempt to quickly leave high society and live a quiet life somewhere far away. After all that would take away the central plot and suspense, but sometimes I wonder whether it might not be fun to follow a story where this plan does actually work out after all.
So in other words I kinda crave to see how a painfully average character somehow manages to survive, as opposed to being some hidden gifted genius
Is it the translation or is the plot a mess? The novel's mc was into the villain and then froze overthe country, but then it's gonna be his nephews who're gonna fall for her later? Florine predicted a flood on the battlefield, but then it's an ambush instead? I'm so lost

Not sure if it was MLM, WLW or a straight story but I remember three points
1. the main character was a transfer and apparently was kind of tired of trying to make new friends everytime, so they just kept their social interactions superficial
2. I think that also involved them always smiling or something (i think in my memory they were also portrayed as quite the pretty face, but I'm not sure)
3. And unless I mixed things up I think the romantic lead was bothered by that at the beginning. Maybe even called it a "fake smile" or something.
What stuck with me was mostly just this plot trope: the protagonist having been an outcast repeatedly due to repeated transfers and thus having given up on meaningful friendships
Even if this is a trope in several stories, maybe reading similar stories like the one I remember might be nice, too. So thanks in advance if anybody can think of one.

Only remember the vague storyline:
FL breaks out from some noble's home with I believe two children, where the head of the house is abusive (particularly abusing the two children for their magical abilities I believe). I don't remember FL's connection. Maybe she was a maid or family, idk.
On the run eventually one of the kids gets sick, so they need to settle down in a town and FL needs to find work to cover the costs, gets scammed by AH doctors etc., until she by chance gets help from another noble(definitely higher status than the previous noble)'s doctor and also runs into that dude at her future work place, which was sth. about examining gem stones I believe. So something magic related. It was pretty obvious that that noble was interested in her (maybe he even tried to recruit her?) but I don't remember how the story continued after that.
I also can't remember if this was some kind of regression or transmigration story or not.
