So mmm...mmm... why doesn’t she want to marry him. No it’s not cause she thinks the FL will snap him away at some point or that she is not the female lead herself.
The problem is a mixture from her past and her knowledge. As she already knows that’s a novel she’s in and that the FL and the ML are the fated pair who will give each other a happy life.
So as she said for herself she thinks it’s not her „rightful place“ that’s all, cause in her mindset both of them are already the pair but just haven’t met yet. And it’s her fault that they won’t do.
And don’t complain about the ML he is just designed that way. He even was before her with the FL in the novel he is possessive and brutal af and welp she liked the novel and him that way so I think there is no problem for her with his character over all. Problem of his possessiveness is that she is the target now and not the FL so all of her tries will be worthless anyway
Am I the only one who don't really understand the whole "we need a commoner to loose" part... I mean, isn't it wayne if she does loose at the start or at the end? Or... at all?
I know theyre saying "we want a commoner to lose" but I read it as "we pretend to show equality by letting a commoner get a chance at being the next queen but there is no way we want a commoner to win". including people like Evie is just a show to the public to show "goodwill" from the royal. family, but never actually thought of them as actual contestants.

- told her he will kill everyone who gets touched buy her
- ppl shocked cause he seems obsessed after he went harder knowing she is virgin
I mean sorry what? Stating the obvious nothing to wonder about lol
Yeah, the fact that he kills the servants just because they needed a break.
