Shonen with female leads? Lists are welcome <3
This manga was so beautifully made, and the characters had such depth to them. They have such quirks and imperfections that can make one a bit hesitant, but it's so realistic.
Given how realistic the manga was trying to be, I find that the ending wasn't solely sad, but bittersweet.
Sada got to rest peacefully, he got to confess his feelings and he got all the extra time needed. It was never going to work out, their situation was too complex.
The scientist may not have been able to perfect his theory but, towards the end, it wasn't about the theory. It was about Sada. He just couldn't recognise it until the end.
Now they are together, it may not be ideal but i think its sort of beautiful in a way.

Don't be fooled by the art style, the story is absolute dogwater. None of fhe character's are tolerable and they all just seem to be caricatures with no interesting aspects. Within 4 pages they had to mention that the scary mafia man "didn't care about gender". It's soul-less and has the appeal of an ai created bl based on every mafia story.
Very unique characters, I like how it doesn't follow the typical bl pattern. It's super refreshing and I want more!!!
The plot is interesting and the author doesn't shy away from making morally grey characters
