I can respect that you don’t wanna see kids and teens shipped together. I really can. But, I don’t think that calling people gross is something you should do. Well, under normal circumstances. The fact that people “like” kids in that way is disturbing. But on here I don’t think that many people actually see the kids that way, or they don’t intend to.

For me it’s like the filter telling me that it’s wrong is there. BUT that is only to a degree. I find it VERY gross, disturbing, and just plain wrong that people like kids in THAT way. I don’t know how to say it. For them to be a little closer? Like in a cute couple manga you would see them go on a date and just hold hands and just seem like a good couple. And it wouldn’t seem like anything sexual has to be provided for the relationship to last. Like they aren’t after each other’s body’s or anything. They’re just together because they like or love each other.

Also about the rape thing. I mainly read gay manga to be honest with you. I have read a few that have a rape tag in them and it actually bothers me a lot. But here’s the thing. It only goes close to happening. They never actually manage to get IT in. And the character never actually gets raped. Let’s say for example that a character is close to being raped but their partner steps in before the creep can go all the way. (This happens for just about all of the manga i’v read) I will still feel sick to my stomach and put my hand on my mouth to keep myself from throwing up. I hate hate HATE the idea of rape. I once started reading a story where it was the partner that set it up and watched it happen. And let me just say that I tasted my dinner again and had to wait some time before I could fill my stomach back up with food. It was sickening to read. For me anyways. I’ll let other have their own opinions. Like I said before, the switch in the head just doesn’t do it’s thing when reading manga. I don’t know why. I couldn’t finish reading the manga, so later on I made a list of manga I’m not willing to read because I just can’t handle them and the story.

Also they never have the character go through any flashback or have any side effect from what nearly happens to them. Like sure the creep couldn’t go all the way, but it’s still a pretty traumatic experience.
I have read a story where the character had it happen to them and had a child as a result. And they do have some remaining trauma from it. It was really difficult to read but I wanted to at least stop reading the story when there was a somewhat happy ending for them. Luckily they did have a happy ending. But it was still rather difficult to read.

What kind of story’s do you read? I read a lot of dj’s. (I’m to lazy to remember how to spell it) also you find with shounen ai? I read most of my yaoi and shounen ai on MyReadingManga. It has a VERY LARGE arrangement of manga to chose from. From the psychological traumatic shit to a cute and wholesome yaoi manga . If you go to it you’ll see a list of things at the top of the page like

This section has the option of yaoi manga, one shots and some other things. Then there’s are the tags. That’s where you’ll see a BUNCH of stuff. From wholesome - rape - crossdressing. You can choose any tag. It can take a second to load, I have gotten impatient before and accidentally click on another tag I didn’t want. But you can always click it again to unselect the tag. And they have a pair category bellow that is if you read DJ. And bellow that is a group section where you can select some of the most viewed scanner groups or whatever you call them.

Now that I’m reading over this it kinda looks like I’m advertising it. Sorry if my explanation is kinda confusing. But I do suggest that you make an account so you can bookmark a story. I was reading a cute and fluffy story just enjoying the nice gay stories and I wanted to check the tags so that I could look it up again because memorizing the names is just to much work and I can’t write it down because I don’t want my family to see. This actually happened to me often so they bought the lie.
