As a person who has read raws and also read tons of dark theme mangas/webtoons, this ending seems happy for me.

What about Wonho.... You can bash me however you want yes, Wonho was a victim, but he knew what he was doing. He wanted a big role so started selling his body. HE FUCKIN KNEW WHAT HE WAS DOING. EVEN IF HE WANTED TO GET A ROLE, HE CHEATED ON HIS PARTNER. He should be happy that Eunwo still supports him and have feelings for him. I was glad when Wonho moved and gave him his address. I'm pretty sure that everything will work out between Wonho and Eunwo. They need to sit and talk. Wonho also has feelings for Eunwo, otherwise he hadn't given him address

I don't think it's a sad ending, mc voluntarily waiting for yellow dragon, now died of old age and meet him again never to be separated... doesn't sounds so bad at all I'll call it happy sad end

It was bittersweet
this is an happy ending, seem to me only people who die can go to the other world, letting Dojin wait and die peacefully is the good ending, if Dojin just disappear his family will search everywhere for him. At the end, they meet again and stay together forever, this can't make me stop crying.

It isn't an unhappy ending just not satisfying after all the high tension chapters we went through.
Loose ends are left loose. Which happened in another long story they have completed called Paramour (doesn't give me much hope for Blood Link which is theirs too since they have already dropped threads in the first arc).
But Dojin brings the pearl back to Yellow Dragon who is now working for the new Yellow Dragon - Red Lotus (the witch in the story and the original black serpent that wanted to become a God) and he gives the pearl to her.
However, it looks like he did this to get his wish to be with Dojin.
Dojin gets a wedding ring made from one of YD's scales while in YD's world. He goes back to his world and lives through old age, alone. We have the same moment we had before of Dojin's niece visiting her now elderly uncle but he is no longer in a coma, just dying but responsive.
She falls asleep and YD arrives.
She wakes as a child and sees YD and Dojin together and smiling at one another looking as they did in YD's kingdom. I think she calls YD's name and he bows to her while D is smiling happily.
When she wakes as an adult, her uncle Dojin dies.
And YD and Dojin are departing for his world. It is happy but abrupt and should at least have an Epilogue or something showing their life together.
The problem I have with this end is that you get them together and that's it. I don't even want smut just to see them happy (since they ignore everything they left hanging in the story anyway). I wish I saw them for more than just a couple of panels after. Dojin dies in the human world and he lived alone waiting for YD.
I can't read Korean and Google translate sucks but I do not think they met while Dojin was in the Human world. So that's why people are a bit ticked.
