This was such an incredible read and I have so many thoughts. dk where to begin.

1st, this lwk reminded of the tokyo ghoul plot. MC experiences near death to death experience and are revived by the exogenous implantation in the body that resulted in them being revived and virtually immortal which also comes along with great regeneration but also not being able to consume human food and having to rely on human flesh as main source of energy. both mcs developing from first rejecting their self to acceptance of not only themselves but also as predators of humans

2nd, mamiya is an incredibly written character. his personality, insecurities, and actions are so deeply interwoven with his actions and also the plot. his traumas playing the role in determining the victims to be murdered was very interesting. him scared under seijis arms when he mentions gving mamiya head makes more sense later with his and that other classmate raping him n that fuckass asshole asking him to give that classmate head. that was so hard to watch my heart ached for mamiya and i genuinely felt like i understood why mamiya chose to kill him first.

3rd, the whole dynamic bw the characters as well as the plot was such a hard pill to swallow but it also made so much sense as well. at first i cldnt see mamiya as a possible love interest coz of his receding hair line (no hate and no discrimination ) but i gen started to see him as a cutie. he became so humane and such a softie later on compared to the first few apperances i commend the writer for this progression and also the character design. additionally, the whole subject/ owner treatment bw the two to being on the equal footing was lovely to observe.

alsooooo going on killing "spree" and murdering civilians but then, imo, hypocritically questioning why ppl hurt the weak was sooo hard to sympathize with but also made sense. i gen couldnt see how this relationship would work out and the way it ended but just the right sense for me. i loved them but this was a bound to be tragic story line. it makes me so sad and it also makes complete sense for me. this story is truly able to make such contrasting ideas blend together so well, its art ಥ_ಥ ಥ_ಥ ಥ_ಥ

I think the premise of this story are hella interesting and the world building definitely is presented petty meticulously. Although a good thing about this type of genre (curses/ spiritual energy/ powers) is that you can always pull an idea out of ass and not have to explain why that happened coz it’s just explained coz of the power of curse (☆▽☆)

That being said, I wrote these below thoughts for a reply but I think they r relevant for my own comment as well ( ̄∇ ̄")

HARDD AGREEE. Although I wld disagree that I liked n cared for other characters just as much as rihito but to each their own.

But on the rest of your points, your r fucking spittingggg. You are so right on the communication where no one is acc communicating with each other. You guys wld notice that whenever someone was about to say something important to the character/ themselves/ the lore, they were abruptly cut off by distractions such as hanzawa standing up and leaving when kousuke is mid dialogue. And he never fkng got to finish his though again. So fkng annoying coz it doesn’t just happen once where we can credit it to “keeping us on edge” but multiple times in the story.

Honestly, the dialogue writing and progression alone can be attributed to shitty communication. There is this choppy flow when I am reading the bubbles, that it feels like they r doing fucking gymnastics and that nobody is actually listening to each other. This story is also syntax heavy but the purpose for many of them seems irrelevant.

Also, YESS!! What the fuck is the professor even tweaking about?? And again, i can give credit to kousuke for pushing and trying to ask rihito to open up, and rihito just resisting. But I didn’t like that neither of them, but mostly kousuke, didn’t say anything emotionally striking and bonding like the ones u mentioned, but also even “I want to stay with you” “wanna be with you” “you are dear to me” etc etc.
I WANNA SEE THIS IN THE SEQUEL

Although all of this author’s works have complex underlying motives in their characters, this one specifically has a new feel to it. The characters are tooo morally grey and it was enjoyable to read that lowkey.

Loved Louis’ character development, amazingly done for a short story.

I was drooling to say the least. Literal eye candy scene after scene, it was lovely to read. I feel like if this manga was just Theo reading the same terms and conditions in eight different languages, I would’ve still gladly read it. HIS FACE IS LETHAL. His confidence on top of that is was so hot. Genuinely one of the best tops, I love that this manga is so driven by what’s logically correct and strategically smarter thing to do (at least on theos end) rather than what their dicks want.

Stilllll wished there was slight bit more romance and tension. I feel like lots of chapters were spent on shop renovation and little on their dynamic if just a bit more was spent on his “paydays” and blushing here n there I would be completely energized to attend my 8 AM lecture tmw

Nights was prolly the best story. The fun teasing of bottom by the top guy was so fun to read. The dynamic is EVERYTHINGG. Where the mature older guy is in fact mature and knows how to act like one too, doesn’t lose their cool, and are acc HELLAAA cool. I love the bottom and the top’s reaction to being made fun of were also hilarious. I love this type of relationship u all, not just fluffy and cute and blush but also teasing and joking around PLEASE GO AHEAD AND RECOMMEND if u all know any (prefer completed storied but beggars can’t be choosers )

Good premise but the chemistry is lacking. I feel like even tho it’s a short story, it could have been more fleshed out, but the feelings and characters just felt hazy and blurred to me. Hella confusing, maybe coz of the translation?

The premise is good with the popular actor and industry pressure and all, could have been very good

So wholesome, their personalities are so likeable and compatible with each other. Seme is hella cute and everything and very romantic and lovey dovey but the uke is EVERYTHING. This is what I like to see in age gap, older uke trope. Constantly being the wise one and reminding them of healthy habits, such as them doing research independently before jumping into sex!!!

I enjoyed every scene, dialogue, monologue, panel, and even silence. Just the moments where characters reflected, pondered or even felt nostalgia was amazing portrayed. This manga is so heavy with strong emotions and the characters do an incredibly amazing job of making u like the story even more.

The art is incredible, the romance is amazing, the maturity and wisdom of characters are top tier. Their struggles are so deeply felt by the readers coz how intensely they are shown in characters.

Cannot say enough except MUST READ!!
Both MCs are AMAZING.
