Thinking further, I do believe Cedric did love Tia in the past life. Besides ambiguous wording in chapter 73, the fact he rescued her from prison is a bit of a clue. I mean, he said it was because she was the brain etc. but logically speaking, breaking into the palace prison would’ve been extremely difficult. All for a women who literally has no tongue or limbs. Even if he was desperate, that was a lot of risk to take on. And the fact he knew she was the mastermind? The truth that Lawrence tortured Tia to hide. Cedric was likely keeping an eye on her. Maybe because he actually liked her.

That chapter (73) really gave me some vibes that Cedric has some past memories. I mean the ‘before and after’, ‘should’ve done this a long time ago (in the novel it was the proposal he was referring to)’ and ‘first and last woman’. So ambiguous. Could go either way. Also the fact that pushing him into lysia would trouble her sounds ambiguous too. In the past life, maybe he never loved Lysia but proposed to protect her or something. I get vibes that he was always in love with tia before and now, but because she was sister to Lawrence it never happened.
All of you calling Tia dense for not noticing cedrics love are dense yourself. It’s not that she can’t see it, but she won’t ALLOW herself to because she doesn’t believe she’s WORTHY of Cedric. In the past life she committed many sins, including ruining cedrics life and killing his then wife Lysia. She feels that guilt so heavily even now. Therefore every time she feels love from him, she stops herself because she doesn’t feel like she deserves it. Can imagine if you destroyed someone’s life, and then just rock up and be like ‘hey I’m in love with you’? She also believes that Cedric and lysia are a match made in heaven and it’s only because Cedric is married to her that he’s not looking at lysia. Honestly it’s funny that mielle just hates aria because arias mum married her dad (being a prostitute). Like, you lost Emma for your pettiness. Aria so far has only brought good to the family. Ok I totally get where everyone is coming from with the skinship, but to be fair to MC, when he was healing her with kisses etc. because it upset asrahan, she did make it clear that he can’t be too touchy with her, even to her own health benefit. Also she is outwardly I LOVE MAH BOI with him and even brags on about it, so her dimwit head is thinking that this skinship is fine as she is clearly taken and Doha is just affectionate. honestly, i totally agree, she isn't responsible for knowing the priest's thoughts like he has to learn. She is very clear that she isn't interested in him like that and is super loyal to her crush/bf in legit every other action. Other people have different boundaries. Seeing skinship as romantic is just one view of life.
