I actually think it makes sense for Dojun and Jinwoo to have kept that distance from each other. I think that was what was needed to help break that unhealthy obsession. Seeing each other would have probably brought up even more uncomfortable feelings and having them live their own lives away from each other is better for them to focus on moving on and getting better (especially for Jinwoo). They can always make amends in the future when they’ve both grown.
