in the end they both truly wanted to be with each other even if it was painful... and I seriously bawled my eyes out during the last few chapters especially when Dohyun burned the warehouse and Sungho burned his diary notes as a sign of severing their past. Just two toxic, depressed, traumatized souls who found solace in each other. It was truly a great story.
