Poor baby bighead was crying because he missed his actual mom, and the evil aunt who stole him to raise is not only not his mom but also a super bad mom in general.
I can’t say she’s a bad mom just yet because she’s a “new” mom. She doesn’t k ow what it means to be a parent. I mean look at home bad Feng Jinyao was at the start of the series. He was just expecting RouRou to like him. Even though Yi Yun is definitely RouRou’s favorite parent, RouRou has warmed up to Jinyao and now sees the other man as a parental figure. She’s not used to knowing what it means to be a parent but I do think that maybe she shouldn’t be “bighead’s” mother just because of all the scheming and backstabbing and such. And I don’t think he really is comfortable with her. :/
She dumps the baby on the nanny whenever he's upset, that's the main time she should be comforting her kid! And she only wants the kid around her when he's happy too. She doesn't love the kid she just wants him the same way she'd want a doll. She's a bad parent. At least her husband is good at it.
In the past I'd read scanlations of this story going up to like more than a hundred finished chapters, weird that there are so few on this site.
