This feels like subtle nuerodivergence representation (being overwhelmed by his 5 senses). I'm always a fan of any rare disability representation in manga.
That comment under where you can start reading it made me glad i saw that before i started reading. He definitely feels like subtle neurodivergence representation and i really like how they showed how he struggles with and how much that affected his life (grades, being overwhelmed with crowds and lots of talking) it but also how it can help in other situations to be able to pick up on things others don't
Also the coming home to someone and rambling about things that went well even though they might be considered small to some, feels like a very neurodivergent experience (one i often am doing)

And also how the things like struggling with his grades and how people treated him because of his condition, are still affecting him even if hes trying not to let them

Im not entirely sure what you mean? The last part confuses me a bit. Do you mean would ASPD count as neurodivergent or are you wondering why we consider mc neurodivergent? Happy to answer if you could clarify

yes. neurodivergent refers to having a brain that is formed or works differently from what is considered normal. all mental illness (personality disorders included) fall under this

Nuerodivergence, in my country at least, is used to refer to specific types of brain differences. Most mental illnesses don't fall under this category. The most common nuerodivergent conditions are the Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and ADHD, but there are other conditions as well. Personality disorders, and mental illnesses like Depression and Anxiety, and intellectual disabilities (low IQ), aren't considered nuerodivergent.

i dont know how then, because the reason why mental illness/disorders are considered under the umbrella is because they do rewire your brain.
I think the hand holding being effective enough for most guiding tasks is key for why this story is pretty wholesome and positive; especially compared to every other guideverse story. The other stories make guides into basically medical prostitutes, so they have a lot of drama and tragedy
He modeled, did a sales presentation with that icecream spill, and was the fabric designer. He should get paid well! I hope big brother puts some of his income he made himself in his college or savings account.
Um...How you don't see ML care for his own race that he tend to be forgetful when one of his kind succeed in self harm? This indicates his sympathetic, caring, more humane emotions and mental is more sensitive. That's how the plot portrayed him imo. So, ML being nice to the girl is genuine.

I am still 100% convinced the top in "be my boomer" is not a boomer at all. Dude just has autism.
