Ok I get ur feelings on the ex remark cuz i was kinda "huh?" On that too but when I thought about it, I think he was just trying to say that he didn't want to ask for a bath together because he always did it with his ex and felt bad about asking for it. So he's super happy so be taking a bath together with Hina, not unwilling like Hina thinks. Which is why Hina is so touched by his words. (Kinda like "oh so he was holding back cuz he felt guilty but now he's telling me what makes him happy, finally") u know? I think it's prob a translation error, not being clear enough.
On another note, I personally loved the sequel as much if not more than the prequel. It gave them so much more depth and cleared a lot of things up. I hope the next few chapters will also resolve the whole ambiguous comment of "back out before it's too late" or "Its better if the seed rots" by ijima. (I actually think ijima is trying to protect Chii in his own way cuz he thinks Chii will get hurt like him and doesn't even want him to hope. Doesn't make it right nor makes my hatred of him go away but that's my take on his psyche. Or I could just be reading too much into it. Lol)

I remember this story... Ch 1 - 3 are painful and plain sucked the fun out of my night, but nevertheless an important plot to the whole story. But so painful and irritating that I read it once years ago and remembered the emotion until now. So, read it once is enough. Ending is nice.

Haa... such a terrible story. Honestly, the woman is an idiot with no self respect. The man is just a dick who slaps women all year round. Their communication and way of living together are really toxic. Hate the story from the start. Gave it a try until chapter 28.. seriously not that it's improving. I just hate woman's character like that. Throwing yourself to a guy who does not love you at all. Being all crybaby,embarassing. Love scenes are all awkward and forced and the guy downright did not love her, just fuken horny... This story is such a killjoy. Gonna switch to yaoi now..
