I don't like that the author-nim subtly hinted that looking masculine is strong and powerful, whereas looking feminine is weak and derogatory. Being feminine is not weak. Fragile masculinity is weak. Iris looked hideous in those clothing. She looked vulnerable and out of place.

Don't get me wrong, no hate on masculine women, if that's who you are. But subtly putting down femininity as 'weak' and 'unworthy of leadership' is pure garbage. Stop pushing out garbage narrative.
