Well, she actually looks like she wants to eat those cake T﹏T If the duke wasn't there, she will definitely munch on them. Also, I still don't want to forgive the duke for the about 18 years of neglecting and ignoring Keira. He might not be the worst man, but he deserves something worse than simply being ignored.

I disagree Claude is way better.... our athy didn’t experience the original novel instead she was able to have a loving(ish) father who cared for her unlike Kiera who had to live through the whole thing of betrayal and abandonment and has to experience it all over again

um no lol claude resorted to black magic in order to abandon his responsibilities as a father with the disguise of a defense mechanism. if events weren't altered in the story, athy would've still been abandoned and ultimately killed by her own father. daddy kiera here on the other hand has his reasons for being an indifferent parent and while he made the wrong choices and also killed his own daughter, he was able to make up for it. the only reason claude's favored more is because he's an attractive character ╮(￣▽￣)╭

Ummm, ur argument made me like claude better cuz was UNDER black magic. While Daddy Kiera under no magic.... Kills his own daughter. One directly and the other indirectly

that's not the point. i don't care about their methods because they still ultimately killed their own children which is fucked up in itself. the point is claude chose to be an irresponsible dad and used black magic as an escape, because he didn't want to take care of the child that caused his lover's death. who's to say he also wouldn't have killed athy regardless of black magic or not?

Yeah after all said and done they both did kill their children. But one under the influence thru grief and depression. The other one...... Was their entire conscious decision. No influence whatsoever unless of course they uncover that later on in the story. But atm Daddy Kiera be looking very bad.

While Claude, I wouldnt say he didn't want to take care of the child. He hated the child for "killing" his beloved. He wanted to kill his own child so his beloved would stay alive. So no, I don't believe clause would have killed athy if he was sober. Becuz as he spends more time with his child, he'll come to realize he loves his kid and that his wife lives in athy too. Claude being a yandere sociopath I can see him being protective n obsessive over the ones he loves.

He loved his first wife apparently but still divorced her. Claude.... Would rather kill everyone else first before divorcing his wife.

But like u said both original versions r horrible. They both killed their daughter.
