The anime covered a lot more than what we have of the manga so far. Right now in Japan there are 6 volumes released while mangago just started vol 2 in case anyone didn't know. So if you watched the anime first then you're ahead of those who only read the manga so far

Ahem, the definition of ‘tsundere’ is a person who is initially cold and even hostile towards another person before gradually showing a warmer side over time. If you even read the whole manga, clearly Kenji-san is warming up to Yoshito and obviously going through a character development due to Yoshito’s persistent and unconditional love. Sort of like Taiga Aisaka from the anime ‘Toradora,’ to give an example. Or even Kyo Sohma from ‘Fruits Basket.’ Kenji of course would not be considered a tsundere if it weren’t for Yoshito. If Yoshito weren’t so persistent, Kenji’s character would not be labeled under ‘tsundere’ but under the type of person you presumed as “acting like a piece of shit.” Alright class, I think the lesson will end now.
