I’m not trying to normalize rape but rape happens in almost every Yaoi and authors romance it. You will only find a few bl’s that don’t have rape. People who have been raped or been through something very traumatic, should just read Shounen Ai. Yaoi is not for them

If I was gatekeeping then I would of said “People who have NOT been raped should ONLY read Yaoi.” Or “I should be the only one to read yaoi, nobody else” I was just saying that if people who get triggered by rape shouldn’t continue reading it because they obviously don’t like it. You shouldn’t continue to do something that you don’t like.

People read “Painter of the night” and “Yours to claim” and it has rape in it. And people enjoy the story! People even like Yahwi. So a lot of people don’t care. And I’m not saying that I don’t care

It doesn't happen in every yaoi, and its time readers start holding authors accountable. People are normalizing having warnings and I hope uploaders learn not to upload garbage like this. This one especially was horrible.

And readers (who are mostly English and don’t know Korean) can’t tell Korean author’s to stop telling them to stop romancing rape because they have no way to contact them. And then tell uploaders to stop uploading “Painter of the night” and “yours to claim” and “Love is an illusion” and “sex complex” and “down and dirty” and “obey me” and “Killing stalking” (I know Killing stalking isn’t a bl) and others if you don’t like reading bl’s that have rape in it. Let’s see how that works out
