There have been so many good webtoons that ended this year! Sign, Walk on Water, etc... but this was def one of the steamiest webtoons for me, imma really miss Director Kangwoo’s monster dick and stamina But I’ll be rereading this a lot lol A big thank you to the uploaders!! This manga is DARK to the point that I decided to drop it as soon as I finished reading the latest update but I think I’m just gonna wait ‘till it gets completed before I pick it up again. Reading about child rape even in fiction traumatizes me so I struggled to get thru some of the darkest chapters but if you really can’t handle that, it might be best to skip this one. It’s certainly a good read and has a good plot but even so, you won’t be missing out too much even if you skip this. There’s a lot of rape-like scenes in here too. This touches on the dark side of the yakuza and the romance is not sunshine and rainbows AT ALL. I wouldn’t say their “relationship“ is toxic but it’s quite complex bc of Yashiro’s and Doumeki’s painful pasts. It’s a pleasure to watch Doumeki heal thru his love for Yash but Yash hasn’t healed yet and I really hope that the author will give him the healing that he needs. As for the smutty scenes, honestly, Yash has a lot of sex with different people but they all treated him like trash, like he was a sex doll and not a human. Yash claims to be a masochist but even an M should be treated with respect. Only Doumeki treats Yash’s body with respect and I think that rubbed off on me bc I couldn’t get into even their steamiest scenes together. So, if you’re in the mood for a dark, heavy yakuza story go ahead and give this a read but if you prefer lighter yakuza romance stories, this isn’t what you’re looking for.
It’s such a sweet story. No unnecessary drama and their issues get resolved right away bc they actually communicate with each other
Warning: There’s gang rape and child rape in here. This story is fucked up, apart from all the rape, the MCs tolerated one of the rapists and even went to his friggin summer villa like the rape and rape games didn’t happen like WTF. Sure, this has an actual plot and the MCs have tragic backstories but the fact that the MCs tolerated all that rape was just too much for me and I’m not sure this was worth reading. I also hate it when the uke runs to the enemy’s arms on purpose (a.k.a. also his rapist)!!! So yeah, just a warning to people who don’t like that type of shit like me

Fact the story was good because it never included his backstory. I literally thought it was two different characters yikes. And in the side he makes Chiaki seem like he was at fault like what
that is f-ed up, the author should’ve just created a new character for that story.

I haven’t read the manga yet but I’ve finished the anime and I’ve been listening to the newly released songs and OH GOD the lyrics are ripping my heart to shreds - I’m not sure I’m ready to cry over Mafuyu’s struggles again Losing someone you loved with your whole heart is one of the hardest things you can ever go thru in life and your healing process is going to be messy af. I still hope tho that at the end of all this, we get a happy ending. Anyhoo, the new songs are AMAZING, I wish Given were a real band and we could watch them perform live

But honestly, I would’ve been ok even if they just moved on with their lives bc they already made memories that would last a lifetime and sometimes, duty/work needs to come first. I’m glad tho that that wasn’t the case in the end .
