angst is a good narrative tool... when u know how to write it properly. this isn't angst anymore, this is just annoying and frustrating. all character development has flown out the window. I wanna finish this but idk if I have the patience to deal w sangwoo's antics anymore

sad this story had a lot of wasted potential. I think if it were drawn out longer things wouldn't feel so sudden. also the black man's caricatures were not the most pleasant of surprises :D hoping this mangaka educates themselves bc uhh racism isn't cool or funny

so going through the comments, I can see that a lot of people also have concerns abt whether their dynamic is appropriate or not bc of the ages.

I did think their dynamic was starting to become a little odd but ironically this chapter made it clear to me that that isn't the case. hyo un is clearly non human despite his appearance and thus we can't necessarily judge age dynamics strictly like we would with 2 humans, and also- taehyuk is obviously not interested in grooming hyoun.

grooming is essentially waiting for a minor to get older with immediate attraction, and taehyuk is truly treating hyoun in a familial sense (even as to say that he's ready to see hyoun get married). yes he made a passing comment about waiting, but if you can't see that was a joke then pls read the situation again

ik angst is angst but honestly this feels like such an unnecessary turn of events. like, they just resolved some drama and now they're at it again. it's making me dislike the characters rather than root for them :/

I don't really know how else to describe their relationship other than empty. sure they're attracted to each other but I don't really see a connection. it really just looks like bland codependency

I don't even know how to describe what I felt reading this. it's so rare to find literature where you can feel the sincerity in the characters these days. such a good read :')
