Damn same thoughts as urs. Like the story line of the mangas r great but people literally hate some of the manga just because the uke seems underage or there is some rape part.

1. I didn’t read the manga BECAUSE of the warning. I knew there was rape so I left but I don’t get how y’all can enjoy something so morally wrong.
2. Just because something has been happening for a while is is basically normal at this point doesn’t make it right. It’s also not ONLY this doujin. It’s many yaois that people are now trying stop rape in yaoi. Rape is a very serious issue and even if it’s fiction it’s still gross and hard to look at. Real or not.
3. Like I addressed in my 2nd point rape is a serious issue and shouldn’t be used for your “entertainment.” You can read your smut but with consent! I hate it the most when they say it’s just fiction like NO DUH! That doesn’t make it any better! Even if it’s fictional it’s very wrong. It’s like looking at anime child porn and thinking it’s ok when it clearly isn’t. MAKING IT GAY DOESNT MAKE IT OKAY!

I really don’t want to argue but a friend of mine was raped and nobody took him seriously because he was male. Man getting raped isn’t your fap material but a serious issue. Some man aren’t even taken seriously when they say they’re raped and yet here you are defending it. If I don’t like it than I won’t read it but I will gladly voice my opinion and tell you how wrong you are. I’m really sorry but I strongly disagree with your opinion. Sorry for my long post.

I never said that "rape is okay if it's a man". Or that it's also "okay" if it was fictional. I was trying to explain and ask why y'all are bashing this doujinshi and probably some other underrated ones like you said when there's literally recognized manhwas/mangas that y'all aren't clearly pointing out/pouting on (BJ Alex, Love Is An Illusion, Yours to Claim, etc.) only because it's "popular" and has good/hot art. I know that rape is a serious portion to be talking about but I'm only just confused as most people are why everyone is thrashing out about. I am not defending literal RAPE, I am just sharing my own thoughts.

I gotta agree with otaku wife. Don't attack us if you read love is an illusion, killing stalking, BJ Alex, Window to Window, etc. The yaoi stories I've mentioned also included some unacceptable acts. Fiction is fiction and it explores what we consider taboo in real life. Lemme give you some deep examples: a novel bear exploits a sexual act with a literal bear; a novel paper princess includes several "unfortunate" sexual events such as cheating and manipulation, and Red Queen that includes jailing, killing, manipulation and more. Fiction has no limits and just because we read this, doesn't mean we support rape and pedophilia in real life. It's like you're saying that we SUPPORT rape and pedophilia just because we read this. We know the line of fiction and reality. Do you get it? We don't care is it's gay, lesbian, or hetero. Before attacking the readers, attack the authors too for making this kind of stories.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO TELL ME that you don't read and support the ff: Window to Winow, Killing Stalking, My Darling Signed it, Love is an Illusion, Sayonara Alpha, Bokura Ga Tsugai Ni Naru Made, and any of Harada's works.

I’ve read them but I didn’t enjoy them. It doesn’t matter that they’re popular because at the end of the day rape in yaoi is still a major issue. I know that, “ Oh fiction is an escape from the real world” BUT you can’t just read a story and be completely engulfed in the fictional part and non of the real life parts. You’re going to have to face reality one day and I’ve already done that by knowing whens the right time to be in your own fictional world and the real one you’re currently living in. I will confess however that when I first started reading yaoi I read all those stories and saw absolutely nothing wrong with them. Now it’s different because I know better than to let my desires get the best of me. Some things are more important than others and right now and it’s not yaoi but the content it holds. I know I sound cheesy but I don’t know any other way to explain it. You can read your yaoi but have some standards when it comes to serious topics. I’m not going to force you to read or make you like the things I like but I am going to address the problem. All I’m asking is to please not support something so “wrong.”

Again let’s not make this too much of an issue. If you still don’t understand the way I feel I understand. We all have different views on things and I can’t force you to do anything. Just consider what you’re reading next time.

I’m glad you understand. People are going crazy because right now a lot of people are addressing rape in yaoi manga. Rape in yaoi is a main issue in doujins rn because it’s making people dislike an anime and drop out of fandoms. People are missing out on great shows because some of these doujins, fandoms, and fujoshis. It’s been happening for a while on many different mangas. If you have any more questions you can ask me and I’d be glad to answer them. I’ve read over 1000 yaoi mangas so I’ve got some type of experience.

Personally fandoms and doujins don’t effect me and don’t make dislike an anime. I’m not that effected by other’s opinions but some people are. I’d like more people to like my show but the fandom always drives them away.

For example Mob Psycho 100.
Mob is 13-14 years old while Reigan is 26-30 years old and people keep making them fuck! I swear I’m going to scream is I see anymore fucking fanart of those two having ANY type of sexual relationship. And then pull some shit like “leMmE AgE MoB uP To MaKe iT LeGaL” Excuse my language but BITCH that makes it worse!
It hurts me deeply but I still adore the show. Others on the other hand avoid it like the plague. I’d rather people have their own opinion on a show than let a fandom decide for them.

Yeah that part I understand but it’s becoming normalized and that is NOT ok whatsoever. Like I said we have to put a line between fantasy and reality. Right now we’re too far south. It might be fantasy but it’s still some type of reality. We should just get rid of it entirely since it is very unnecessary.

Well, this is manga where mostly are fantasy labelled thence everything even rape is eventually to happen. Doesn’t that mean it will influence us to think the rape is acceptable, however there are several options given to the readers. But two most obvious options is to continue reading and or drop it.

I am sorry that you think that way when we readers trying to just read the damn mangas for the pleasure generally such as looking at beautiful arts, frap material not specifically to try plan and rape someone.

Also other way to consider, you can try specifying the mangas by using this tag “shounen ai“ which will narrows down to yaoi but more based on story rather than rape and one shot.

I know the difference between yaoi and shounen ai. Yaoi is kinda like watching porn while shounen is more about the story. I know that the readers aren’t going to go and rape someone just because they read about it. That’s like saying video games cause violence.

I just don’t want rape to be normalized. You can read your smut without rape. Rape is just unnecessary and not needed to read about two people fucking.

All I’m really saying is that it shouldn’t be normalized since it’s unnecessary. (Plus I sometimes wanna read some smut ya know...)
