Blushing isn’t always just cause of romantic feelings. Blushing on a character could be sickness, anger, nervousness, and embarrassment.
The way he blushed after being told that, he definitely was more ashamed/embarrassed that he was called out for thinking that way. I don’t think Michael has any feelings for lili at all, I think the dude’s so stuck on her older sister and misses her so bad that he can’t see anything but her. He’s better off quickly moving on with someone new or even getting more closure by seeing lia one more time.
